Outstanding! One of my favorite builds. The only thing I would have done different was a bookmatched flame maple back to really nail down the violin inspiration. I can't wait to see it finished. I suggest antiquing it so it looks like a 200 year old Strad.
I always wondered what a Guitar with a Violin esthetic would look like. Love it! It definitely isn't a Beatle Bass. Next up: a Flying V Cello! (I think that's been done)
I love the build but wish you would have done the headstock to look more like a violin headstock. An idea like the bass guitar headstock that guns and guitar did would have been even more dynamic. Certainly a beautiful build.

Great guitar build, I might of gone for a upside down head stock, but that's just me.

did you use the trace function on fusion for the inlays?

Is it just me thinking by myself ,or is that guitar would have serious intonation and action problem?....
Well, there are holes for mounting a bridge, so I don't see why. Maybe add some string retainers to the headstock and it will probably be fine,
If he uses staggered height tuners he might not even need those.
