Seeing other CZcamsrs make the drinks in literal seconds then watching Arin take 35 minutes to make 3 orders, cuss out the customers, and need a walkthrough to put away milk was truly an experience xD.

Yeah, I was wondering why she was so insistent that it isn't coffee, since it is. You shouldn't be that passionate about being wrong. That's usually Arin and Dan's job.

Imagining Arin anxiously stumbling around behind the counter, every kitchen implement in his arms, trying to get the blender cup full of ice at the right angle to connect to the blender, quietly saying "fuck" to himself every five seconds, as I patiently watch him slowly get my order wrong
The amount of "we should pause this episode," "I'm a fucking idiot!" and the half dozen cuts within the first few minutes alone really paint a true Game Grumps picture.

To be fair to Arin, that part is a common complaint when people play this game. They assume they should still be getting into their car as directed and where the giant yellow arrow is, not looking for some random dark hidden guy in amongst all the dark shadowy graphics.

Him not knowing how to steam the milk was pretty eye opening to me. This whole experience was consistently painful for me and I'm not even a barista. I cant imagine how bad it would be watching this as a barista.

technically a latte is not coffee... Latte is italian for milk, if you want a 'latte' you order a Caffe Latte, people as usual just use another language incorrectly and it catches on.

I never realized that the reason I thought this game was so intuitive is that I used to work as a barista. I definitely see it now that Arin struggled so much and Dan kinda knew what to do. When Arin was trying to put a cold drink in a hot cup I kept on thinking that I would probably do the same if I didn't get that dunkin donuts training forced into my head lol.

Watching others play this seriously, watching Arin struggle to make a drink and Dan struggling to witness it is a breath of fresh air tbh
*Fun Barista/Coffee Facts!* - "Light Roast"* coffee has more caffeine than "Dark Roast" coffee bc the longer the beans are roasted the more caffeine is roasted out of them. Light roasts have more acidic flavors and pair with citrus snacks. Dark roasts pair well with chocolate snacks. *"Espresso"* is basically the first 20 second fall of coffee ("espresso beans" are just "coffee beans" labeled "espresso beans" as a marketing ploy bc ppl think it'll be stronger somehow). *Latte* = espresso and steamed milk (generally light foam). *Cappuccino* = Espresso and steamed milk purposely creating a good deal of foam. *Mocha* = espresso, steamed milk, and chocolate (basically latte with chocolate. the flavor "mocha" is the combination of chocolate and coffee flavors). And *Cold Brew* is a coffee made at room temperature much like making Sun Tea, where the grinds are simply soaked into the water and i personally find it the smoothest coffee~ :3
I mean espresso isn’t *just* the first few seconds of coffee as you would prepare a pour over. You hit very high pressure for the roughly 20 second period, which is why espresso shots have that beautiful creamy head. Everything else is right though
The most unsettling thing is Ally gaslighting everyone by saying there is no coffee in a latte
I wish Seán was here to help them with this one.... They haven't even started playing and I'm already dreading Arin's inability to make the drinks.

my favorite grumps moments are when Dan goes quiet for a moment and Arin doesn't know what to do so he just keeps going through his thought journey into obscurity and Dan comes to and checks him. this has happened an innumerable amount of times over the years and its ALWAYS funny
The scariest part about this is realizing I am doing drink training for Starbucks next week and it's going to be exactly like Arin fumbling to make an order

I watched Jacksepticeye’s playthroughs of both The Mortuary Assistant and Closing Shift. He’s a very skilled player who got the multiple endings and explored what both games had to offer.

From seeing many others play this, I can already expect Arin's gonna take forever getting through making the drinks just to get to the main scares.
Edit: He didn't disappoint 😂 to be fair, I've seen plenty others struggle as well. The mechanics are a bit clunky for the first time.
