Your purpose stems from your identity like a branch extends from a tree trunk. You can have more than one, some more important to you than others.
Your identity is your core sense of "I am." Each human being is made up of several superficial "I am's" layered on top of your core like, "I am a manager at company X", "I am a Buddhist", "I am German", ect, but your core identity is deeper than that. Some examples of that are "I am light-hearted with a sense of humor", "I am hardworking and disciplined", "I am honest and candid", ect. Your core is also made up of desires and things you enjoy such as "I love nature and want my own garden." This is where your purpose comes from. An example of that would be: "Because I love nature, I want to share that with the world. I want to start a gardening organization to teach people the importance and fundamentals of farming and gardening."

This whole perspective is toxic bro. This is why I have trouble with men having pre conceived notions that “women get so much attention so I wait for them to message me first” and I’m over here like, “I’m not giving you any of my attention unless your a real leader who can at the very least- message me first.” Labeling every woman as the same is part of the biggest problem in dating with guys. I'm surprised how you get it wrong at times in a way that seems immature and ignorant. Women do a lot of what they do to get the attention of one man they're into.
