I’ve been a devoted Nicki fan since her inception. When this song was initially released it wasn’t one I naturally gravitated towards. Now that I’m going through a breakup with someone I’ve been with for 7 years, this song resonates much differently now. Everything she states in this song is exactly how i feel. It’s difficult to listen to this song at times due to the emotional toll it brings. Though this song makes me extremely emotional it also brings me so much comfort & closure. Nicki thank-you for creating such a powerful song, your lyrics are truly magical. I send well wishes to anyone who’s going through a breakup/divorce. I’ve been told it always gets easier. ❤️
