Lampano Alley - Ganyan Lang (HQ Audio)

By Philippine blues band Lampano Alley from their album "Songs from the Alley" (2002). An original composition by band founder/vocalist Binky Lampano. With him are Tom Colvin on harmonica, Kwachi Vergara on guitar, and Simon Tan on bass. The band's drummers are Rey Vinoya, Paolo Manuel, and Jojo Lim.
Lampano began his music career in the mid-'80s, writing songs and fronting for new wave band Dean's December. He went solo in the early '90s, recording the rock-flavored "I Read the News" in 1992. His musical curiosity then led him to explore the blues/jazz genre and form Lampano Alley in the mid-'90s.
