- In this video I am sharing how to host a cozy Spring afternoon tea party ! Complete with a full menu of lovely treats, tea, flower arrangement, candle painting, decor, and equipment. In this video, I share the process of putting together an indulgent and cozy Spring tea party at home, as well as all of the decor items and inspiration, and a full set of recipes.

RECIPES
Savoury: chicken puff roll, avocado chicken sandwich, beetroot sandwich
Chicken puff roll
* 1 puff pastry roll
* 2 chicken breast cooked
* 2 pinch paprika and coriander powder
* 1 tea spoon salt
* Tomato purée to spread on the puff pastry
* 1/2 cup Grated mature cheddar
* Beaten egg to glaze
Beetroot sandwich
* 1/4 cup grated beetroot
* 1 spoon Hummus
* 2 slice white bread
Avocado chicken sandwich
* 1 spoon Mayonnaise or cream cheese
* 1/2 slice avocado
* 1/2 cup cooked chicken
Cover the sandwich with wet tissue to avoid drying it.
Scone:
traditional English scone with dry fruit served with clotted cream and jam
* 2 cup self raising flour plus more for dusting
* 1 tsp baking powder
* 85g butter cut into cubes
* 3 tbsp caster sugar
* 175ml milk
* beaten egg to glaze
* jam and clotted cream, to serve
Bake it at 160C for 20- 25 min
Sweet : custard pastry and chocolate dipped strawberry
* Puff pastry 1 roll
* Beaten egg to glaze
* Custard
* Fruits to top the desert
Cake : simple rustic cake with flower decor
* 2 cup self raising flour
* 5 eggs
* 1 1/2 cup caster sugar
* 120 ml milk
Bake it at 160C for 20-25 min

Imagine the gentle clink of fine bone china, a tiered cake stand laden with the fruits of loving labour. Scones, their tops glazed to a golden perfection, nestle alongside dainty finger sandwiches with cucumber so crisp it whispers of English gardens. The pastries, adorned with glistening fruits and sweet creams, call to mind the joy of summer fetes.
This tableau is set against a backdrop of soft sunlight streaming through lace curtains, casting patterns of bygone elegance upon a table set with care and attention to detail. Magnifique. J'adore les fleurs dans le jardin, sur la table, sur la vaisselle. J'aime les tasses fleuries. J'en suis "folle" 🌹☕🌺. Cela me rappelle ma 1ere années de cours d'anglais audio visuel au collège, à 13 ans avec notre professeur monsieur Descamps. Nous avions une leçon "it's tea time ". Je me rappelle encore du début. What time is it ? It's five thé clock ..etc. Nous devions ensuite faire sketch après la leçon. Nous avons passé un samedi après midi avec les 2 copines à construire notre scène, avec une dînette d'enfants. Notre prof aimait que l'on joue les scènes. Pendant les répétitions, la copine Édith voulait m'imposer de tenir théière, tasse de telle manière, nous obligeant à rejouer x fois la leçon. Et elle se fâchait. 🙅Le jour du sketch devant notre professeur, nous avons installé notre dînette. Il était content. Nous jouons la scène du " tea time" mais quand je dis "do you want a cup of tea? " la copine Christine éclate de rire 😸car elle voyait Édith me surveillait méchamment pour la façon de tenir la théière.. Elle m'a entraîné dans son fou rire alors que Édith était en colère. J'ai dû dire 10 fois "do you want a cup if tea !" sans avoir la réponse de Christine qui riait. Toute la classe riait. Édith ne quittait pas sa colère. Nous avons continuer en gloussant sans réussir à finir le sketch. 😹Le professeur nous a noté 20\20. Vu tous les efforts que nous avions faits. Mais Édith m.en a voulu, elle voulait "l.élégance" pour servir le thé. Quel beau souvenir. "What time is it" Merci professeur Descamps. It's tea time. 😺
Ou peut-être would you like a cup if tea ?!? C'est plus juste.? J'ai oublié .. C'était en 1973.. J'aimerais bien retrouver le livre de nos leçons. 💂📚☕🕔☕🕔💂
