Approaching the Evil Queen (whom lots of people find intimidating ) at Storybook Dining at Wilderness Lodge, I curtseyed, approached and thanked her for being so gracious as to grant us audiences that evening! She noted that I was wearing her colors (purples) and was gratified. I told Merida that she was my Heritage Princess. Snow White is always super sweet!
I agree about having questions ready, characters love that! Also good tip about waiting until the end of the night! Character spot in Epcot has a short line at the end of the night too!

The Plant Parade doesn’t matter. This is their job to interact with people & stay in character. So if she’s having a bad day, she needs to suck it up and make these people happy and have an enjoyable experience. No excuses. Or call out of work. One thing I know from working with people for many years no matter what job you have, customer service is key. So when having a bad day or something happened outside of work, you have to just put that in the back of your mind, put a smile on your face and keep moving along. So for Jasmine being rude to her was unprofessional and petty.

Since I remember my family were planning on going on some ride which featured the seagull from The Rescuers but since this was in the days before the fast pass (and it was our last day there) and the line was long -we decided to go see Snow White and Mary Poppins-and I remember that both of them had their 'other half' there at the same time-which I assume is pretty rare in today's Disney parks outside of the celebrations parades. I do remember it was the 25th anniversary of something to do with Disney
You don't have to pay for photos with characters! The PhotoPass photographer will take professional photos and you have the option to buy them later. But, you are welcome to take a selfie. The photographer and/or character attendant is usually happy to take a photo of you with your phone/camera, too. Have a magical time! You can meet Alice in Epcot in the UK Pavilion and in Magic Kingdom (usually near the teacups). Check the My Disney Experience app for exact times/locations.

Damn dude savage. People do get nervous around the characters. I went a couple of years ago and thought I would be too old and it would be awkward. I guess I am a scumbag huh? Geeze. When you get inside the park it's a whole different feeling.
