I've had a Mobius for a few years now and I think it greatly expands the possibilities for any synth you send through it. I've recently really enjoyed using the Formant machine which can sometimes impart a unique phaser type of quality ro just wacky robo-speak. The Mobius can also transform a mono synth into a stereo synth in so many ways.
The Mobius effects are very well done, each algo imo is the equivalent of a dedicated pedal. It's one of the main reasons I ended up selling the excellent Zelzah.
Get a Behringer poly. Cheap (relative to something) and sound good. Or just figure things out yourself so you don't sound like everyone else, or are at least trying to not sound like anyone else. Which is one of the the beauties of electronic music, I think.
I feel similarly. Regarding cost, you can get a very decent setup for 1000-1200 or if you buy used then way under 1000. A big poly will always cost more and your argument about using the Fx with other setups of course is also valid. Unless we are talking „not necessarily analog poly“. I personaly own a minilogue xd which for me is the perfect balance between „comfort of presets-small enough but big enough keys(for a small synth- great sound-relatively enough voices-cost“. I will personally (don`t shoot me) never buy a Behringer again. Not making a political statement really though Loved the „Prodigy- Hyperspace“ synth at 3min
Thanks for the thoughtful comment. I briefly had a Behringer MonoPoly but it just didn't have the feel of the OG Mono/Poly I had back in the day. The Solina is a one-trick pony so I rather like its simplicity.
The logical answer to which is usually the biggest, most complex things you can imagine. OTOH I think I'd nominate two bits of gear I sold: The Norand Mono just because of its incredible range, and the Zen delay because it can sound like a delay, reverb or drive. Now I wouldn't be so stupid to buy the Zen delay a third time, surely. Your choices?

If any synth in the world, probably the Deckard's Dream and the Zoia for fx ;). Hmmm... now I'm thinking I should just sell everything and get those two. >.
Clearly you need 8 Salinas so you have individual outs for eight parallel effect chains entry perhaps some sort of tube summing mixer. This should be clearly obvious 😊😊

The sounds speak to your point, great work. I'm not sure I would spend 3 k on an expensive poly synth anyhow.
I still have a Rev2 and although it's an excellent machine it never seems to get much love.
