Transcribing this song really makes me appreciate the chemistry happening between Izzy and Slash. It’s so cool to hear them trading off the leads. I had no idea that was Izzy until I started transcribing!
Just a note on tempos - my interpretations of these songs are at a fixed tempo. To fully appreciate the human touch in this music, I recommend listening to the studio recording, where you can hear the tempo variations as the band recorded live in the studio.
This is probably one of the easier songs on Appetite of Destruction. We'll get every song tabbed out soon enough, only 2 more left to go!
izzy is the man...i've red that almost all the riffs on appetite for destruction were created by a izzy, then slash made them even better
I think it would be better to split these two videos into 2 separate videos, it can be confusing when you play Izzy and Slash's parts in one video.
And you're right ! Do the same exercise on "Welcome to the jungle" and "Mr Brownstone" : it's amazing !

I learned the whole album, I can thank you for some of the songs, but I think Izzy's part is just as important as Slash's

I always loved those Slash's acoustic guitar parts in the chorus.
I thought Izzy played those 🤔. Google didn't know at least not with the top results. I asked ChatGPT and Izzy was the answer given. If it can be clarified further, let me know. Found out from an old live video Izzy played every second lead in the interludes... but neither Slash or Izzy play the acoustic parts live.

You could find info on that if you can get hold of the CD inlay sleeve. They usually have info like that below every song.
@@bilalattique actually yes, I checked my Appetite lp back cover and it shows that Slash did indeed play acoustic guitars, so I was not wrong

Hey, i've been trying to learn Hear My Train a Comin' by Hendrix, and i realised it was really hard to de-code what he was playing. I would find it really helpful if you ever made a tab cover of it, since it is such a cool song to learn and since you've done such a great job on your other Hendrix covers so far. I suggest you try it out!

It was written in the 80s by Viktor Tsoi, it has an awesome melody and the solo at the end - OMG, if u listen to it, you'll get goosebumps. I'm sure it'll attract viewers from Eastern Europe :)
