- Hey guys! In this episode, Dylan and I explore the Glasshouse Mountains and tackle some 4wd tracks with our Pajero and Navara to test their limits! We started at the Motorbike Play Area and worked our way up to Hennessey Hill, where we were stoked to overcome it! We then had lunch at Big Red Car Park and did the Powerline Track after. Glassy is the perfect place to test your vehicle with easy to hard tracks available!

Great video guys. It's great to see two young guys driving sensibly & showing how to have an awesome time - well done 👍
Thanks a lot Terry we appreciate it🙂💯
You guys had a cracker of a time up there.Get them dirty great job boys🇦🇺👍👍👍👍
Haha we had a great time Steve, cheers😄💯🍻
The traction control got a workout and a half! Nice work mate
Haha definitely didn't make it easy for it😄😄😄
Absolute banger of a weekend brother!!!!
Love the vid🤙🏼🤙🏼 Can’t wait for the next one🔥
Yeww had a blast💯😄 until next time!💥
That's some tough tracks with no lockers. Looks like the Paj traction control works a bit better than the old Nav.
A great way to learn lines without the lockers there to bail you out. Great work.
Definitely haha glad the TC got me out of some sticky situations...😄 loved it💯
Lekker Suid Afrika! Eks jaloers manne! Dis n baie mooi pajero wat jy daar het! Geniet dit👌🔥
Baie dankie! Waardeer💯😄🍻
Awesome footage & editing!!! Looks like you guys had a great time (minus Dylan’s light 😂)
Thanks😊
Hahaha yeah was definitely a good weekend🤣💯
Nice video, Thank you😍😍👍👍.
No worries mate 🤪💯
Never knew you guys are fellow South Africans. Awesome video!
Dankie Riaan💯😃 Yess we braai Boet🇿🇦
Love to see fellow SA oakies in action!
@@peterstevey Loving Australia😃
@@budget4x4life have seen the amazing trails and landscapes that Australia has to offer, and being a fellow pajero owner the thought of a 4x4 holiday to Aus has never been higher! Keep up the awesome work man!
@@peterstevey appreciate your kind words good on you Peter and dankie🙂💯
Very nice 👍
Thanks Ivan🙃
Lekker man.
Beslis😄💯
For me, one of the big reasons to buy a Pajero is that is the few 4x4 that comes with rear locking differential. Buying a Pajero without it rear lock diff is not a good idea
Yeah luckily the TC system works wonders💯
Great video! kudos to the man driving the Hardbody/Navara. It looked like it had open diffs and no TC. That man drove such good lines (by-product of not having any traction devices), and he was so smooth with his driving too. Big ups to him. Another observation: It seems the TC on the Pajero took forever to kick in at times (if at all), as it looked like you had a few times where you sat waiting for it to grab the spinning wheel and it just never did. Otherwise very brave driving from both of you.
Haha yeah Dylan's Navara had lsd in the rear but open diff front. With the Pajero I found that when my throttle controller was set to eco the tc didn't quite kick in as quick as with normal throttle. It's as if it kicks in as soon as boost comes on. Also didn't have it on all the time to test it😄💯
@@budget4x4life Thanks for the response brother. Would love a video showing the difference between TC ON and TC OFF. Any plans to fit a rear diff lock?
@@dumanimjo609 no worries mate will make a vid in the future 💯
Umm the Paj doesn't need it so far for the type of wheeling I'm doing but I reckon rear diff lock will happen in the future👌🏼💯
Where did you get the rock sliders on the D22? Look tucked in close. Cheers 👍🏼
Hey mate there's another vid on the channel. It was custom built and got the slider tubes from DIY CUSTOMS🔥💯
Good stuff mate! Enjoying the shorty out on these 4wd tracks?
Hey Josh! Yeah it goes really well haha loves a wheel lift😄 if I could add anything it will be a locker to help with those lifts but the traction control works really well in the mean time😃💯
3:13. "so naby" Some Afrikaans in the Glasshouse Mountains 😁
🤣🤣 net so bietjie haha 💯
We have a 2002 Pajero Exceed, 3.8 petrol. Great car and nice off road just wont do the hard tracks in it. Not allowed!
Haha yeah lets be honest I did some hard stuff that Pajeros aren't really built for lol but it did it....will I put the car through it again probably not cause I don't want to damage anything haha but was good to see its limits😄💯 in the future I'll buy a toy for the hard stuff
Hahaha good hear the afrikaans!
Lyk lekker! 👍
Are those 18 inch wheels on the Paj?
Janee altyd🤪🤣💯 yess 18 met 275 65 18 falken wildpeaks
Looking to buy the swb. Great channel. Watching from kenya
Stay tuned for episode dropping soon💯😊 You'll find it handy💯
Are there also easier tracks for beginner solo drivers at glassy? Great video keep em coming
Yes definitely. From easy and scenic drives to extreme stuff🙂💯
Where would you reccomend finding maps for these easier beginner tracks? @@budget4x4life
@tjrulzall if you search glasshouse mountain tracks there should be a map you can download. Follow the green tracks. Or just go there and the obstacles you don't want to do drive around 🙂
Dankie 😃
Did you turn the TC off at times? As didnt seem to be grabbing the spinning tyre as it should have?
Otherwise cool vid as usual 👌🏻
Sometimes yeah to see what the difference is🙂💯
Thanks heaps🙌🏼
Yeah ok that makes sense, definitely works well the the old mitso traction control
When I win lotto I am buying a Triton and giving it a life front end and some more torque.
Have you see that one of Wild Fab? If not check it out haha it is a monster 😍💯
@@budget4x4life Is that the one that is said to be 'SASed'? Brilliant!
The only thing tighter than the shorts is the music 😅
But some good skills driving and capturing the video too … not easy out there
Haha he got some big legs under there 🦵🏼😄
@Angus Chapel Thanks matey! Was definitely a challenge😄
I notice that you have a towball on the rear of the pajero, please don't tell me you were snatching off the towball? Please use a recovery receiver hitch or at just pin in the receiver to snatch.
Nope..I pull the towball out...put snatch in with towball pin😊 I know about the horror stories of the towball...never do this😄💯
@@budget4x4life Cool. Good to hear it.
