This piece is included in Dušan Bogdanović’s recreation of three songs by legendary English singer and songwriter Sting -- "Shape of my Heart (Ballad)", "Every Breath you Take (Prelude)", and "Fields of Gold (Choral)". Dušan originally arranged these songs for guitar and string quartet in 2013 and, in 2019, he re-arranged them for solo guitar and dedicated them to Stephanie Jones. Stephanie Jones is an active soloist and chamber musician who is currently based in Germany and studying Konzertexamen at the University of Music Franz Liszt with Professor Thomas Müller-Pering.
Stephanie continues to perform extensively around the globe in multiple tours and festivals, and has also released two solo albums, “Colours of Spain” (2015), and “Bach, the Fly, and the Microphone” (2009). She has also won numerous awards in prestigious competitions, including first prize at the Hannabach Guitar Competition, Uppsala International Guitar Festival Competition, and Fine Music Network Young “Virtuoso of the Year” Competition. Stephanie is passionate about sharing her music with others and is recognized as an innovative and deeply musical artist.
A richly gifted composer, improviser, and guitarist, Dušan Bogdanović has explored musical languages that are reflected in his style today- a unique synthesis of classical, jazz, and ethnic music. As a soloist and in collaboration with other artists, Bogdanovic has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. His performing and recording activities include work with chamber groups of diverse stylistic orientations including The Falla Guitar Trio and jazz collaborations with James Newton, Milcho Leviev, Charlie Haden, Miroslav Tadic, Mark Nauseef, Anthony Cox, and others.
He has over two hundred published compositions ranging from guitar and piano solo works to chamber and orchestral ensembles (Berben, GSP, Doberman-Yppan, et al.), as well as close to twenty recordings ranging from Bach Trio Sonatas to contemporary works (Intuition, GSP, Doberman-Yppan, M.A. Recordings, et al.).

Now there is a person who can really play the guitar and not just a bunch of shredded, distorted, single note solo lines. That's music.
Stop blabbing and just appreciate good music there are different genres of music if you don't like rock don't listen to it and whine about it. I love both and i think both are impressive they both take a long time to master so don't degrade anyone just because you like this

Very nice playing. It's odd that she plays a Spanish guitar but uses steels guitar strings.
She's playing a Paul Sheridan guitar from a very fine luthier in Perth Australia.
Where do you see steel strings? Look closer.
4, 5 & 6 strings are always steel on the Classical/Flamenco guitar. That Sheridan is constructed around the Classical approach to sound, ( not Flamenco ) and like all of the above, the 1,2 &3 strings are nylon..............I've had the pleasure of playing one.

I'm better then her. I'm the guy that can play shredded single note solo lines, but I can play this to. I Ooooz soul! She's better looking then me though. Yea, Sting is for sure a gifted songwriter, beautiful melodies and intelligent hooks.
So you play this on an acoustic guitar? Or do you use Tina S 's Vigier Guitar? Tina S, Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" 3rd movement.
