We've got something special for you this week: meet Sarah Reich- one of the greatest young tap dancers in the world that is helping to bring the art form into the 21st century through her group, the Tap Music Project. We're very fortunate to have her as a PMJ touring cast member, so our audiences on the most recent #PMJtour already know how amazing she is. For anyone that hasn't yet seen her, here's a medley of some popular bass grooves - "Push It" by Salt n Pepa, "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5, "Good Times" by Chic (or "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang), and "In The Hall Of The Mountain King" from Grieg's "Peer Gynt Suite" - performed by Sarah, bassist Adam Kubota, and drummer Chip Thomas. I made a little cameo, too.

It's always fun to watch Sarah, because not only is she an amazing tap dancer, she always looks like she's having so much fun! It's pretty much impossible not to smile along with her. :)

I saw this live, and let me tell you, they should exactly the same, if not better than they do here. She captivates everyone with her tapping. It's really breathtaking.
PMJ is a 'must see' especially Sarah Reich who has reinvented tap dancing. Her lighted stage in a dark theater is an additional bonus but her tap dancing is over the top!

Such a great thing about the tap community is that so many of the people are kind. They so easily could be stuck up, but they're not. She was very nice when we saw her performing a few years back

The sounds she makes with the amount of space she has are AMAZING!!!!!! I can't do have as good as that with a whole room a my studio! One of my dance teachers and some of my dance friends have met and danced with her and I'm just like, speechless.
