Yeah but compared to nano leaf and Philips hue and other competition they are like only 2/3s the price or less which is really good for how decent the products are. It just sucks because the competition is making more expensive products
@@forbiddenkalamari Yeah they're still great for the price and still cheaper than the competition. It's just that the gap is slowly closing. Still great for the price though and I would still prefer them over the overpriced Philips Hue line.
So, whats the more affordable option for this product? Even in the DIY route it would be too difficult to have something that diffuse light like this and with the modularity this have and I guess it would be around the same price, tbh this still really cheap for what it is
Does anyone know how many segments you can connect to one power source? I have 14 strips and 4 corners connected and the lights only come on for 6 strips and 2 corners.
This is all great except for when you try connecting to your wifi, and it won't connect because it says you need 2.4 wifi (wth is that?). There is no remote, so I can't even use these lights at all. And why does it need wifi AND Bluetooth? Why not just Bluetooth? All my other electronics only need Bluetooth... not both. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated, as I feel like I wasted my money on this.
Whats better Govee Glide or Lifx Beam? I heard Beam is better but their app used to have a lot of problems with disconnecting, Not sure if it still does...
Awesome video! I do have a question. If I wanted to attach more of this light to make it longer, can I do that? It would be a shame if it limits you to 6
unfortunately thats how it is, but the good thing is that govee is currently working on a updated version of this product which will allow for expansion, i would keep waiting as im sure its around the corner
@@Instrumentals8388 argb lightstrips are common and often very bright Agree the full product is a little more premium and customisable. But don't think it is great value
Not sure why you can connect more to these to wrap around a gaming room. They seek like 50ft RGB strands yet this can’t have more attached? Bad engineering I guess.
Govee went from "They are the budget alternative to philips" to "You can certainly find more affordable options out there"

Once I set this up with Bluetooth can I then connect my Bluetooth to something else and still use the lamp how I set it up
But how long is it after installation? Im assuming the longest part is about 3ft?
On Amazon, it says that the measurement of length is 11', but it's looks more like 5-6'. Are they measuring the cord to make 11'? Thanks.

What's the shelf in the background? It looks great with the lights!

I live in europe and i want these so bad but can't get them. Is there any websites i can get them?
😍😍😍 Really love this product but sad for the price.. Its still a little bit expensive.. But i know its worth the price.. Really love your videos Sir..
The reason this is expensive is that it can show multiple colours at once. Led strip's can only have one colour at a time.
@@tomdrums4607 not if it is rgbic
How are the whites of this light? I'm actually not interested in the RGB colors, online whites, ranging from warm to cold. Is this possible?
Do you think they could be used for keylight for meetings?
How do you take it off? Seems like the adhesive is at the back but you can't reach it without ripping the wall out?
Can you purchase additional light segments, I want to go around a closet on 3-sides?
Perfect review!!!

Awesome , order it 😍
If you buy 2 of these can you connect them together?
no

Just bought one.... There was 2 options : 6 pieces and 8 pieces. I don't know if we can expand more.
Is this not available in the UK? I click on the link and says page not found?
does the material stick to all surfaces? For example also on rough plaster ?
I stuck mine on the metal tracks of a dropped ceiling and used a few dabs of superglue just in case. May want to do the same.
I don't think I've ever seen a light strip review with so few actual lighting examples.
Luv the vid, can I plz get that spare hyper x quadcast 😬
A light strip and a diffuser would basically be the same but half the cost

Can it be control by Google or alexa? Love them
by both, yes
Do you have to use the corner piece?
No
Can you charge it or does it require batteries
You plug it into an outlet. Common man
