I got this gem 2 weeks ago, and I'm over the moon, I have so much to learn and discover, watching these beautiful videos I made the first settings, and I realized that I have an infernal machine in my hands. It made me feel the same emotions since I got it and still have it, the Fantascica C100 mark 2. Canon Forever
That was soooo helpful and to the point and understandable and the real world usage just made it all very clear! Thank you so much! I LOVE my Canon R5C!
Really great video, thank you for the excellent series! As a C70 owner, a lot of this applies to that camera as well. Well done!
I really wish Canon would allow more video autofocus modes in the R5C. It was my own fault but I bought the camera thinking the animal detect focus was going to work with video.
I think it will come by a firmware updte
Same here. I don’t understand why it isn’t. May go ahead and sell my R5C
Amazing tips about the camera, It was shot in UHD XAVC intra Internal is the oversampled from 8k :)
Took so long for Canon to make some moves like this.
Great video! Thank you!! It's a shame the I.S. tests are slow-mo with the exception of the gimbal shots. Kinda defeats the purpose of the test. Would love to see a handheld I.S. test in 24 fps.
Would love to hear what sensitivity levels you were using during the shoot. Do those sensitivity numbers change based on how fast the subject is moving? TY
Hey Logan! Can you elaborate on what specifically you are referring to in terms of sensitivity levels? Are you reffering to AF settings? We laregly used the default settings on this production but there are times where you will want to twealk them based on how you want to "rack" between to subjects and also if you want it to "latch" onto another subject more quickly or not. A lot of it is trial and error to see how you want the camera to respind to specific shooting situaitions or even your shooting style. We tried to capture as much Over The Shoulder (OTS), stuff as possible as you will see in the. To my recollection (from over a year ago), that's how we had the camera set up for those particular shots.
Hope that helps!

01:45 continous AF option is not allowing to select enable or some other options. what could be an issue in video mode on?
What external monitor do you recommend for monitoring?
Hello!
This would be a great question to post in the Canon Community Forum. Here Canon users share their experiences and recommendations on different gear and accessories. You can join the Forum here: canon.us/canoncommunity. Hope this helps.
Proper camera for Professional cinematographer,
photographer.
EOS R5 C for cinematic, compatible, support canon cinematic lens.
canon EOS R5C including canon L lens for R mount relative expensive for prosumer. Prosumer probably only rent cinematic lens
The R5c mark 2 is in the process of making...... what's this video about? As an R5C user..... can you tell me anything that I don't already know ? Unbelievable ......
Who said R5CII is being done now? These are great videos done by canon from a camera realesed 2 years ago.
Only rumor atm is that R5 m2 is coming, R5CII will probaly not be realesed at the same time as R5II, id guess its better for sales if they realese it some time after R5II.
