The WPS is not an organizational problem of the NPA; it is the government''s. The NPA has its own agenda, and the WPS issue is not its concern. The issue here is not about patriotism nor, nor is it a "joint venture" of sorts between the NPA and the government, but rather it is about exercise of our sovereignty. So then, let us leave it to our able government to take care of the matter.

We keep bad memories of the War that is long gone by, but that was all at the time of War, really a bad time. No war is good anyway. It's just natural to feel bad and be pained to remember that way. Time, however, keeps running on and we now are in a situation that really needs attention and good resolution that must not be stuck on emotional approach, or rather free of some influence of the sentiments about the war memories or experiences, which somehow still survive in our thoughts, although these things may already be out of time or place in the relevance of the present situation or the current concerns.There are lots of serious tasks ahead yet, and we need to be consistent and resolute in tackling our problems, just as we need to always keep a vision for our progress beyond the present challenges.

Re- the new witness, I guess it could be LDL, since Lascañas or Matobato had already made depositions much early on. LDL is just recently liberated and can efectivelly corroborate the statements of either guy by the notes that LDL had gathered in the past in this regard.
