Due to recent events, the part of the video discussing a particular driver has been removed
Which one is removed
@@thatoneguywhouploadsvideos Mike Wine.
Why was mike wine removed from the list???
@@landonview5546 got arrested
Oh…my…god…!
Tom meents is such an interesting one. He started out as a straight up jerk. He was a sore winner and a sore loser. I think once he found his place in the league, he really chilled out and allowed me to see him for who he really is, someone who really enjoys his fans. His main focus is competition, he wants to win, but all of the interactions he has with his fans are awesome no matter how young or old.
Yo sup jarek love ya vids
I think most of that was an act for the tv cameras
Eh, I think he was more acting than being genuine. I was always on Dennis' side growing up, but it really felt like Tom was just playing up for the cameras.
@@tmthylthmHe definitely wasn't acting when he smashed jim jack's stuff then didn't talk to him for years. Their relationship never improved.
Dude, I didn't even know Hartsock passed away, like wtf now I'm crying. I remember always disliking him as a child cause he was so good at racing and always beat my favorite trucks. As an adult, I've come to appreciate and admire him as a driver and person. He's actually one of my favorites now. He was one of the greats. Rest in Peace legend.
I'd say Steve Sims and Don Frankish are underrated personalities. They're very soft-spoken in their interviews but when they get behind the wheel, they're just downright crazy
At World Finals 13 (my first and only time going in person), I passed out from the heat in front of the Mohawk Warrior area of the pit party. The girls that were there helped me over to a backstage area, where they had a couple identical black couches. Back there they let me recover and eventually George himself took a break from signing autographs to see how I was doing. It's something I'll never forget. George Belhan was a driver at my first monster truck show and he'll always be a favorite of mine
That’s a really nice story, I’m glad that they helped you and he checked up on you
R.I.P Scott Hartsock
you will be missed
2:42 bro is getting w rizzed
5:17 to clear that stupid thing
That little Scott Douglass appreciation bit was terrific!
Here's an idea for a future vid: "What Happened To...(insert driver)"
Could be a series, could be one big vid. But with how FELD operates and how drivers often disappear from Monster Jam without much coverage unless you're in the know. I think that'd be awesome.
R.I.P Scott Hartsock in Gunslinger.
Thank you for allowing me to live out my dream by driving Cowboy and being on Monster Jam.
Gone but not forgotten.
Diesel Dave also had a funny personality similar to Koehler. Humorous and Loud, especially when Monster Jam let him announce to begin the show.
When I was at an independent monster truck show in 2015 Jim kholler was one of the four drivers at the show and to my surprise he was a pretty chill dude not expected from him
HEY!! AT 4:56 YOU USED MY LIL MEME I MADE! THATS SO COOL AND ALSO SHOWS JIM BEING THE FUNNIEST EVEN WITHOUT POINTS
HAHAHAHA- THATS AN AWESOME QUESTION!... or comment in this case
I have an idea for a future video. 10 Times Drivers wouldn't let the truck quit. I miss the days of Monster Jam where there were cars, and if a truck flipped over and the officials would let them try to save the truck for minutes on end. Also when they were broken.
5:04 that interview!! 😅😂LOL
Kam Kotraba: You are ever gonna score any points?
Jim Koehler: *HAHAHAHAHA!* THAT’S AN AWESOME QUESTION!
My all time favorite personalities (along with my favorite truck they drove) in Monster Jam in no particular order are as followed.
1. Tom Meents (Goldberg/Team Meents/Max D)
2. Dennis Anderson (Grave Digger)
3. Jim Koehler (Avenger)
4. Charlie “Chucky” Pauken (Grave Digger)
5. Linsey Weenk (Iron Outlaw)
6. Jimmy & Dawn Creten (Bounty Hunter & Scarlet Bandit)
7. Damon Bradshaw (Air Force Afterburner/Monster Energy)
Bernard Lyght is my favorite right now. Really cool guy and brings a lot of energy
As a kid, Anderson was always cool to me, but I genuinely was really just there for the trucks. But I'd be lying if I said that Koehler didn't leave an impression on my little kid brain. He was awesome lol. Avenger is still one of my favorite trucks.
I really wanna see some Christmas monster jam trucks in real life this Christmas coming
Number 1 driver hands down is Jim Kohler. Had a chat with him a few years ago in Sydney and he's a great guy on and off the track. Best voices hands down, Scott & Mark. Not a big fan of the people that followed with the way they announced shows. The constant product placement talk gets annoying very quickly. Scott buetow was also a good guy to chat with and watch. Had a good chat with him a few years back in Brisbane at the media day. Hell of a driver👌
Thank you scott hartsock! A true monster truck legend!
This was great! I really love the little bits you did with Koehler as well!!
i will have to say knowing scott hartsock as a friend, he was as cool of a person as he was a driver, that man would talk with you for as long as you wanted, and boy howdy could he send that truck to the stratosphere
That’s really cool! I’m sorry for your loss 🙏
Great idea for a video! These great personalities in MJ helped build what it is today
0/10 no Charles Benns
10/10 has Tom meants
@@bewactionfigures8796 Tom Mentos*
@@bewactionfigures8796*meents
@@Da_SpongeGun thanks
I can definitely understand why Charles Benns would be in a video like this.
I was actually at STL '09 and as my first ever stadium event it was amazing. I even met Jim again in '17 and we talked about a lot of stuff including about his '09 event
Chapters For Your Convenience:
1:26 - George Balhan (The Punk with All the Junk)
3:47 - Jim Koehler (Mr. Excitement)
5:51 - Chad Fortune (Staying in Character)
7:45 - The Voices of Monster Jam
9:04 - Ryan Anderson ("One Run" Ryan Anderson)
10:04 - Madusa (The Queen of Carnage)
11:14 - Scott Hartsock (Cocked, Locked, and Ready to Rock)
13:16 - Dennis Anderson (The Icon of The Sport)
15:25 - Tom Meents (The Professor)
17:03 - Todd Leduc (Cocky or Confident?)
Great video!
I was thinking are you paining on making a video on Monster Wars you know the 1992 USHRA season the did the MONSTER TRUX 2000 event but work!
9:03 the goosebumps im getting yo...
When I met George Balhan he seemed very interested in meeting the fans didnt say anything when I tried to talk to him and was practically frowning in the picture I got with him. (It was at the second Atlanta show in 2016) Am I the only one who had that experience?
All these drivers are the reason why monster jam was so exciting and entertaining for the past 20 years of this sport. Super nostalgic. I will love this sport forever!
Watching this video has gotten me into monster trucks, thank you so much
I’d say Dennis Anderson is one of if not the greatest. No other driver thanked the fans and acknowledged other drivers like he did
I love Dennis Anderson! I met him when i was a little boy, I think I was 6 or 7? He looked liked my foster dad but hefty and he has this smile i'll never forget when he signed the back of my shirt and got a picture with him. I still kick myself in the butt that I lost the shirt and pic but hey, I still got the memories huh? Recording videos and stuff is fun but experiencing it in real time is just something I will never forget. That moment made me a Grave Digger fan for life!
I would replace leduc with jimmy creten but great list!
so happy madusa is here. SHE IS THE MOMENT FOR LIFE
What about Charles Benns he would do the splits in shows after a run and his interviews were entertaining
I didnt know chad fortune was a wrestler
And before that he was a pro football player.
And just about every sport/occupation that exists
Scott Douglas is THE voice of Monster Jam. He's like the Gold ol JR of monster trucks.
Good list, feels like one of the biggest honorable mentions would be Pablo Huffaker! The World Finals/Shipping Container saga deserves some praise lol
Huffaker is the guy who always surprising you, watching him climb another truck in Ragin’ Steel in 2001 is an example of this
Now this is a true gaming moment
I really liked the video! You should do the top 10 underdogs Monster Jam drivers of all time.
-Like I'll do an example; Scott Hartsock, Lyle Hancock, Eldon DePew, and if there's any underrated or underdogs that I've forgot? Please let me know.
Steve Sims, Chad Tingler, the Basl Bros
Ricky Ownley imo is a bit underrated
@@donnaasbury he’s a good one too
I think I've got a few, Carl Van Horn (CVH), Brian Bathel (Even though, he's a former champion. Somehow, it seems he's a former champion/driver that's forgotten. I hope I'm wrong.), John Seasock, Marc McDonald.
@@nickdeluna8681 they’re good too and I agree about Brian Barthel
This was interesting. Detroit Loves MonsterTrucks!!! G
13:04 - Scott Hartsock was probably one of “THE VERY LAST” gentleman “MONSTER TRUCK RACER’S”
He would “RACE YOU HARD” and “HE WOULD CALL BS IF WARRANTED”
but he was “A STRAIGHT SHOOTER; DEAD STICK” and if “HE” made a mistake
“HE WOULD CALL OUT HIMSELF” he was “NO GOOD AT FREE STYLE” but he was
“DAMN GOOD MONSTER TRUCK RACER” and I love “MONSTER TRUCK RACING MORE THAN FREESTYLE”
AND I LOVED WATCHING SCOTT RACE ON TV PERIOD”!!!!!
R.I.P Scott Hartsock; you will be missed…..
Ngl this vid reminded me of the style that EmpLemon did his NASCAR rivalries vid
evolution of bigfoot next pls
Won’t happen
I agree. The Blue Oval guys(Bigfoot),Bob Chandler need,a story Like This. Detroit Loves MonsterTrucks!! G
Gonna be a long shot to ask but does anyone know the song that was used at 14:56 I know it’s monster jam music but need to know the song Classic monster jam was my childhood
We need someone to replace **** **** because we now have personlity. Great video man!
The reason new commentary is looked down upon I think is because Scott acted like a fan not just a employee of monster jam. Like the new guys don't freak out over moves and cheer and stuff like scott, Mike hogwood, Dan, Kate, etc
15:41 still mad abt that
On terms of nicest drivers, I have to say Bari and Brian Anderson are great guys, Brian by fat puts on ine if the most epic shows possible, living in Oklahoma where our show is on a basketball court, they are quite cramped for running space but he managed to put on probably the best freestyle Oklahoma has ever saw
u should have included damon bradshaws extremely serious competitiveness
I'm all jacked up on cotton candy and mountain dew......
lol i just love how the title for tom meents is "tom mance"
Ive always been impressed with Dennis Anderson but his son Ryan is an interesting guy for sure. I get the sence he's about everyone being included and enjoying the same limelight. He speaks highly of every team and truck and theres no sence of rivarly with any team or driver. Hes an example to us all to follow. Hes a real leader in the community and you can see bits of Dennis in that Mantra also. All the Andersons sure come across as kind and genuine people and have a love for kids. The hide 10 thousand eggs on their compound for Easter for the public every year.
Jackson, Tom does have one biological daughter Hannah from his first wife, but she doesn’t compete in monster jam, his two stepsons are involved in the sport but are currently on hiatus.
I am aware of Hannah but I meant he doesnt have anyone biological that has/is going to be in the industry
@@MonsterTalkOfficial i gotcha
Do evolution of gunslinger
Tom meents actually used to drive a mud dragster
@@ryanmcmillin5313shake me and mud patrol
the 40th grave anniversary was down right terrible they thought about it for 3 seconds
Ryan is a mix of every Anderson
Dennis is a real OG
Odd question I really hope you can answer. Why did Monster Jam completely stop going to the Dome in Atlanta? Now they go to Atlanta Motor Speedway. It's just not the same!
I agree with everyone here, Charles Benns should be here
This is why I am going to UNOH FOR COLLEGE
Race in Peace Hartsock 🔥💯
Rest in peace Scott Hartsock
RIP scott
The best commentary duo in monster jam will always be Scott Douglas and Ken stout
Now Ik this is not a ranked vid but could Jim be the funniest of all time??
1:01
Anvger evelution
Charles Benns?
i have one of chads sheilds lol
This list is just too small for all of the amazing personalities monster jam has had😢
Ayo cookie 💀
I gave the new commentary a chance and immediately changed the channel after 5 minutes they really aren't good and they grated my ears almost as bad as Mike Hogwood did
that aside I'll say one thing to correct something and that's the Madusa truck is actually the longest running and last WCW truck from the deal Monster Jam had in 2000 and the truck was named after her wrestling name which was Madusa in WCW so the fans of monster jam only know her as "Madusa" because she never used her real name
Her real name is Debra Miceli and they still called her Debra even back in the early 2000s.
I somewhat know Koehler, my mother was adopted and her cousins wife’s sister married Koehler, she is a teacher that teaches in my moms school, his whole persona of being loud and screaming is not true, I forgot why I went to his house twice, I think it was for the 2011 World Finals win, or something else, the dude is quiet and humble, not a boisterous red headed step child
Tom mance 😂😂😂
Rockin 0 points.
So if I could timetravel and be In a pit party with the punk his girls will kiss me wow
I personally Hate Scott Jordan and Colt Stephens commentaries it don't sound good
