Some great feedback on my earlier Tribike video of yours truly on the streets and beaches of Orewa. From this feedback we have been asked for more detail on what makes this cracker Handbike ‘spin’.
So here I am outlining some of the features. There are many but note the high end Italian componentry featuring assist and throttle based power delivery, gearing to cover all terrain and custom width/ hand cranks. Accompanying this are some ‘really nice-to-have features’ such as; fork stabiliser rubber bushing for easier loading, universal Triride mounting system to fit all manner of chair widths and types, through to the hand support provided by the ‘power plates’ on the pedals. Having raced handcycles internationally I can tell you this bike really does incorporate some of the best features seen in the World handcycling circuit.
Did I mention its light? Yup 11kg of light, which makes it a doddle to load in and out of the car.
