  • The word ‘Doodle’ (or oodle) is often used to refer to a mixed dog breed, that has the traits of a poodle and any other dog breed.
Two of the most famous doodle breeds are; Labradoodle and Goldendoodle. These ‘designer breeds’ are very famous because of their teddy-bear appearance, friendly nature, and hypoallergenic coats. They are selectively bred to have desired characteristics of both parents.
Since both the doodles are hybrid dogs, they’re not accepted by the American Kennel Club.

You really did not give correct information about Labradoodles if there are using English labs in the breeding program. Because English labs are gentle, kind, loyal, couch potatoes most of the time. They do like exercise, but love being close to their people most of all. And are gentle with & love children of all ages. This breed was developed specifically for use as non-shedding assistance dogs. But people have to be very careful about the breeder they select because most doodle breeders are in it for the money and do not test their breeding animals for genetic afflictions that affect the breeds. Meaning Labrador Retriever and Poodle, or Golden Retriever and Poodle. Embark or other genetic testing does not take the place of the numerous OFA tests these breeds should be given & certified before use for breeding.
