Those who make over six figures is less than 15% of the world population. And those who make more than 250k a year is 1%.
I think the average Maher is 5k. There’s no incentive for a man to pay more than that, when he can easily find a sister whose Maher would be lower and she would be younger and prettier than this sister whose asking more an 5K.
Sisters don’t make your Maher expensive. Be modest and humble.

Whereas, some sister asking for exorbitant amount of mahar, not getting married early. Few people can pay huge mahar, because most people are working class.
