- An unseen enemy within Albion and The Void, The Corruptor waits patiently for it’s chance to attack Albion. What does it want, and where did it come from? I went to Albion to find out!
I started Skyrionn to go back and look at easter eggs and the little details in classic video games. From that, I’ve moved on to looking at timelines and lore in video games.

Fable OST - The Temple of Light
#TheCorruptor #Fable #Fable2 #Fable3 #Lore
I hope the new fable will be like fable 1 on a massive scale. In my opinion fable one was the greatest fable. With a little mix of 1 and 2 the game will hit like the old days. And we better see some temples and all the old swords
Yup can definitely see you crying about the next one.
I've always loved the concept of The Corruptor, basically an evil William Black! So much potential as a villain!
I hope he still exists in the new Fable!
I was really excited to make this one. Evil Will could have been a good enemy.
I thought the Crawler was the big bad only to realize he was a taste of what sinister is to come and with this new game coming I’m fucking psyched loved this game as a kid and I still do as an adult
If only journey was a « normal » fable I was totally not aware that this game contained true story for fable
A thought accrued, if the hero of oakvale threw the sword of aeons into the void wouldn’t the corrupter have it?
So thankful for your videos, thankyou for keeping Fable alive for us.
There's SO MUCH more to come!
Journey wouldn’t be as hated if it played like the traditional Fable game. The Corruptor is actually interesting, just not in an unplayable game.
Also killing off Theresa. It’s not a Fable game without our favorite blind Seeress.
The Corruptor storyline was the saving grace of the game.
@@Skyrionn I kinda agree,it filled some blank spots to figure out how crawler and everyone else showed up
I’m 3 years late but the chance of Theresa being dead is pretty slim id say, but no hero lives forever!
I have a feeling that The Curroptor will be the main antagonist of the next Fable.
Oh most indefinitely, the new devs are going by lions storyline and are still finding ways to fill the blank spots
Few extra cutscenes, characters, quest and dialogue explaining all this would have made me care about the villain in 3.
Imagine being able to go into the void, in this new game coming.
It's be AMAZING to visit The Void!
And the court of blades and the return of jack XD
Yeah! Would be cool to serve them for longevity and power like Reaver does. Definitely a highlight of Fable 2. I wanted to see more beyond the surface but its never really been the focus of attention except with Jack and even then its more of a background detail.
with fable 4 on the way we are about to find out if the corruption has become stronger or if its in the process of getting stronger lol not to mention we need some lore of Gabriel since he's the new see-er XD man so much to discuss
Such a shame we didnt get to explore more of this world, i'd have loved to explore samarkand and other areas, Hopefully playground will bring us a world just as amazing assuming its a reboot.
Oh Samarkand would have been a great one to explore! Hopefully Playground bring that sense of awe, adventure and magic.
@@Skyrionn Agreed, the magic and fantasy was what made me love fable, even since i was a kid id use magic.
This one was so good! I didn't know any of this!
Martin Korda has a streak of very "ehhhh" lore choices for many games, especially in Fable: The Journey, glad he kept the corruptor alive at least.
The editing is great. In future vids, you should try to change the hero’s model with Cbox or shadownet so you can record nice footage
I'm not sure if that works well with Anniversary but it's always good to experiment!
Fable the Journey went full cosmic horror with this one. A being that is the dark embodiment of the power of the first most powerful hero. In a way Gabriel was saving albion from the its destruction at the hands of its savior.
The Journey's story was actually pretty good. The gameplay just didn't appeal to me.
Would the spire exploding again have wiped out Bowerstone/the world we know? It destroyed the old kingdom after all.
I loved the Storytelling, the Villian, and the characters in Fable 3. It had an amazing Story. I just wish the gameplay was more like Fable 1 and 2. Fable 3 was honestly a great story that was just as good or better than the first two games ,
I knew that the crawler had some relation with The court,it's from it's emptyness and that's when it was created,I'm still confused why was he the highest ranked when he possessed walter in cowardness, when the deveorer and temptress seemed more stronger foes, so which means we defeated (maybe or not killed we may never know he might return in fable 4) the crawler was in his weakest form and tested the hero of brightwall, what also wierds me out is that what if scythe/william/Archon is chilling in some cave waiting for his next turn and bring Theresa back with a ressurecttion phial and defeat the corrupters new warriors again
So is Fable Journey Cannon. I was a bit confused that there was more after fable 3 then remembered journey, never played it so have no clue about the storyline
I think it would be cool if the corrupter invades thousands of years later at peak strength and albion advances to the modern era with an organized army that gets there ass kicked
The corruptor is most greatest evil entity yet.
Yet the hero king's fate is unknown but we can assume the worst seeing how Reaver is alive.... And the temptress was alive...
Unfortunately you got read the tie in books for the fate of the king and co..... Lets just say Reaver still manages to be the slimly git we all love to hate
@@HaddaClu I did read the book but it ended on a cliffhanger as far as we know the king rotted in that cell and reaver usurped the throne and kept the power of the sanctuary which is likely why he still owns the industries in the journey
Reaver:god damn it why do I have to indulge myself in such heroic actions to save the albion and my business?
Gotta love the most evil thing in this universe
As evil as Jack.
@@Skyrionn exactly
I think Fable the Journey was basically said to not be canon at some point but I could be wrong
Lionhead nor Microsoft ever announced it as being non-canon. That idea of the game being non-canon is something that comes from the community dislike for 'The Journey' and 'Heroes'.
I think the same. I don't think it's even been announced as non-canon. People just really didn't like it.
Is Fable 4 even going to be Canon? Hell the thing doesn't even look like it's Fable anymore.
Your voice is soothing and calming
Love these videos as a huge fable fan
I'd like to see a fable game based on William black
2:03 isn't more accurate to say he exorcised the corruption out of him instead of purging it?
If you prefer that word, sure ☺
couldn't you wish the void never existed, or anymore from the void that enters Albion will be in pain and agony, or just Albion poisonous to anyone from the void?
You'd think that would be a better wish. Maybe even The Spire isn't that powerful!
Thanks for the great videos
I really enjoyed this episode
I'm wondering if the new Fable will use this Spire explosion to reboot the franchise. So you know we now have the Ancient Kingdom, the Old Kingdom, ---- the whatever is current because lets face it the residents of Albion arent very imaginative with naming eras.
If the new fable is indeed a reboot I hope it doesn't erase the first game from the timeline.
i would love to see him in the fable games rather than just in lore
What happened to the hero of brightwall?
Ey Skyrionn, have you ever considered to make timelines videos about the "Souls" saga ?
I hope the new game will allow us to finally end this thing
Sheev Palpatine here, I changed my name on CZcams. Sky if you need another computer lmk and I'll donate again. I got you my guy.
Hey Sheev. Good to see popping up! I'm always looking at upgrades. Currently got my eyes on a third monitor. I'm always happy to accept any form of donation!

another banger
We need a game set in the old kingdom or even at the start of the series. Imagine a well made Fable MMO set during the dawn of the story? Imagine being able to be part of the slaying of the council, or there when the sword of Avo was created, there’s so many moments which we can only imagine that need to be seen
I agree, but I want a single player game. Not an MMO. They can make the MMO after they make a single player game.
I can get the desire for an mmo, but I doubt it'd feel like fable. May be a better idea to do a multiplayer game something like Destiny.... except you know... without all of the garbage parts of destiny. Being able to go out on quests by yourself and stumble into other heros on the adventure would be cool, option to work together with others. Something like an Expansion on what they'd done before with fable.
MMO's while cool and capable of what i described tend to be very grindy. I dont think a lot of those kind of mmo mechanics would work well in a fable game.
@@trebot9292266 destiny is an MMO LMFAOOO
@@trebot9292266 fable is more similar to a game like guild wars or world of Warcraft than a game like destiny regardless. A fable multiplayer game would be like the fable games we have now, a fable mmo would be akin to elder scrolls online except with different combat mechanics etc
@@minecraftslover you took the destiny thing in the totally wrong direction.
Also mmo stands for "Massively multiplayer online" it dont stand for "make a marty and jump into a player capped instance." look at the difference between the MMOs you named and then the 16 player capped destiny. Maybe destiny 2 raised it to 32, but still fewer than the 100s of players on screen at a time of what you named.
as for the parts from destiny to take, I already pointed out which ones.
Fable is only like guild wars or TESO in theme and thats already a stretch considering there are not elves and orcs in Fable.
Destiny as a whole is bad game anyway, but allowing players to run into each other randomly to make the world feel bigger was a smart move. Doing it in a multiplayer fable game would only be expanding on what Fable 1 did with some of its early quests.
The Corruptor D:
How the next game goes:
- Reaver is the current King and is going to get overthrown by new Hero
- New Hero is guided by Gabriel like Teresa with the last King
- After you Overthrow Reaver you go find the last king but he’s old and dying in the dungeon so the monarchy ends and then a government is then established
- End Boss is the Corrupter
- twist he possesses you and rules if you choose evil
Also this takes place in the future like era, sort of close to like cyberpunk or something
Honestly I’m up for anything at this point 🤷♂️
have fun geting popler
I just enjoy making the videos :)
Really really love fable and your content, but in the future could you maybe not pause so much- yknow... not... to talk.. like.. this
Otherwise A++
Thanks! I am working on speech structure while still giving a "guildmaster" type voice. Work in progress :D
@@Skyrionn keep it natural homie your voice is just fine for story telling you don’t even need to try
I actually don't like the story of the journey. Killing off Theresa and having having the hero of Brightwell conveniently disappear feels like a total cop out. And kind of a spit in the face for the Role-play of people who enjoyed fable 3.
I always liked the way they handled player characters from previous games. But this just feels cheap. If the new fable is in the same continuity as the previous games I hope it ignores the journey.
Early. For once
Welcome!
