As much as everything you said makes sense and is logical 95% of investors cannot follow it. Why? Because they invest out of fear and greed, those things are attached to their money and strategy. They have "scared money", which is aways greedy. They will pull out too fast EVERY time, and will BUY too high EVERY time! Since they make up 95% it intensifies the issue among their kind. Yeah of course, but you should have bought like 2 years ago when i think it was Wall Street Journal literally wrote an article saying gold was no longer a store of value. Sometimes they ring a bell at the top, and sometimes they ring a bell like that at the bottom. Remember that Barrons article saying there was an oil glut? That marked the absolute bottom for oil in that cycle, like down to the month. If you see a headline of a newspaper (not some random website) saying Gold to $10k, it's time to sell.
