    Hey traveler, There is a really cool video on the "Spark" channel about ATL airport, a behind the scenes documentary. Flights into/out of Miami are always a treat. So much has changed there in this lifetime. Very cool indeed !!

    The moon and the plane going the other way off of the wingtip was pretty nice to watch. I never thought I would enjoy an hour and thirty seven minutes of watch a flight from beginning to end. It was quite relaxing.

    Great flight B, very relaxing to watch through our 'window on the world' and an excellent presentation as always. You really get a feel for just how large the Everglades are, WOW! Kind regards from the ol' fella across the pond :-)

But, I thought I'd reply to comments while the footage from the trip was uploading. Hopefully I'll be able to get through some of it tomorrow and get you guys the trip report!

    I love your videos so much. Im a huge aviation enthusiast and I would love to be a pilot someday. I love watching your videos and seeing and hearing all the beautiful sounds of airplanes. I noticed during most of the inflight segment, you could see the moon. What a cool thing to see on your flight. Thanks for all you do!!!

    I took this route back in 1999 on an L-1011 Tristar. I miss the days when airlines used widebodies on high demand short routes.

    Check out the wing. All mechanical parts and hydraulics in there. No fuel or fuel tanks.. their wings are paper thin. Private jets are the perfect example.

    When the flaps are retracted under "autopilot"...is it done under remote control...or does the flight crew still have to manually input the instruction?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Před 2 lety +1

      Well, I don't know the answer to that. Perhaps someone with more knowledge on the subject will comment. Thanks for watching my friend.

    Great fly! The inflation rate is now 7% up from 6.8%, the highest since 1982. What's your reaction and opinion about it? Do you think inflation rate at 7% will keep you from flying?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Před 2 lety

      My reaction is you can definitely tell... Things are always more expensive in Hawaii. It's just the way it is, since it's so isolated. But, I was a bit shocked when I was there a couple days ago and got food at the airpot... It's not Panda Express, but it was basically the same thing. I don't remember the exact name. Anyways, I got one dinner with orange chicken and a water... It was $18.00. $18.00 for one small dinner and water. That's insane. But no, as I've said many times before, it will not keep me from flying.
