ABC has a lot of great songs like "Be Near Me", "When Smokey Sings", "The Look of Love", "That Was Then but This is Now", "Poison Arrow", "(How to Be A) Millionaire", "Tears Are Not Enough", "If I Ever Thought You'd Be Lonely", "All of My Heart", "15 Storey Halo", "The Night You Murdered Love", "King Without a Crown", and a lot other great songs. One of my favorite bands growing up in the 1980s. ABC is still awesome.

I wasn't even a thought in my parents heads when this came out, but it blows my mind on how listening to 80s music people started talking about the impending doom in the system that started back then and how I'm standing here 40 years later wondering why we didn't listen and how we let it get this bad.

At the time the song was at #25 on Billboard's Top 100 chart, two weeks later it would peak at #20 {for 1 week} and it spent thirteen weeks on the Top 100...
It reached #4 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart...
And on the same 'Bandstand' show the group also performed "Be Near Me", four months earlier on November 3rd, 1985 it peaked at #9 {for 2 weeks} on the Top 100 chart and on September 22nd, 1985 it reached #1* {for 2 weeks} on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart...

I'd strongly recommend it. I purchased ABC's best of compilation ("Absolutely") sometime after I heard Look Of Love on Sirius-XM's First Wave station. (I had already heard Poison Arrow and this song due to the GTA franchise.)
BTW, I didn't particularly care for Poison Arrow when I first heard it, but I tolerated it for the song that was coming up next on Wave 103, and a year after I purchased GTA:VC in 2006, my interest in New Wave really took off.

@SIKE01 It was on VICE CITY STORIES. I was aware of the band before and listened to some of the music they made before this but, I became aware of this song while playing the game. It was on Wave 103 after "Relax" by Frankie Goes To Hollywood.

Somehow, this song wasn't on it!
How the heck do you leave this song out? The band's name is the same as the US network it was on, ABC!
And there's a line near the end of the song that's the same as the title of the show!

This art style reminds me a lot of 90s pop themes used by artists like Venga Boys. Probably directly influenced by ABC!
