Diesel doesn't burn in atmospheric pressures. You might be able to get a small amount of diesel fumes to ignite if you provide a very high temperature spark, but the resulting heat is not enough to further evaporate and ignite more fumes. Diesel only works as a fuel because engines vaporise it and compress it enough to lower the ignition temperature to something useable.

That's not a gas station it's a fuel truck. Those honestly wouldn't carry much either, considering they're sectioned off in case things like this happen.

not sure if you're blind but that's a gas truck transferring gas to the pump, there might be a shut off switch in the truck but some models actually dont have them as they are older

They did say it a lot. So what I’m seeing here is gas is burning, but there’s a diesel spill as well. Which is why the diesel mix with water is there.
You can burn diesel pretty easily. It's recommended that you use it instead of gasoline to start your bonfire
