  • With some MOSs, both the Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training phases of training are accomplished back-to-back at the same location, with the same instructors, as well as with the same fellow recruits. This is called One Station Unit Training, or OSUT. One Station Unit Training is organized for certain MOSs such as Infantry, MP, Engineer, and Armor. Infantry and Armor OSUT lasts 22 weeks.
Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning) is a United States Army post near Columbus, Georgia, adjacent to the Alabama-Georgia border. The redesignation ceremony officially renaming Fort Benning as Fort Moore was held on 11 May 2023, the day the renaming took effect.

Very good shooting, the distance to the optics is very good, breathe in and exhale evenly, the target will come towards you very easily in the first second, this feeling when you pull the trigger when it then stops is a bit like one Magnifying glass in front of your eye, but also just a slight perception in front of your eye. ! Co-direct the shot after the first shot and feel like you save it, it will lead to success. !!! Major P. Elite Sniper and Advanced Commander. !!!

You forgot to mention to squeeze at your 2-second natural pause on the exhale. That is the only time you should be squeezing.. bottom of your 2-second natural pause... Breathe In-N-Out at the 2 second natural pause then closure eyes breathe in again breathe out and at the bottom of your two seconds natural pause on the second breathe open your eyes. You will be off your zero so adjust back to the Target then breathe in and breathe out squeezing at the bottom of your 2 second natural pause again And squeeze, it should come as a surprise.. and never pull your trigger you squeeze using the tip of the flesh of your finger..if you follow these fundamentals you will be able to put the same round in the same hole..
And if you want to get really technical then also squeeze at the bottom of your heart beat. Your heartbeat can affect the round accuracy. But that's more for competition shooting mile distances. These are Marine corps fundamentals. They don't teach the heartbeat part but they teach everything else I mentioned. You almost had it right on the breathing... This is what I was taught by Marine Corps range coaches.. not to mention I've been shooting firearms since I was 6.. I got my first Marlin 22 at 10 12 gauge Remington shotgun at 12. And I got a Savage 110 30x06 when I turned 16 for Christmas.. I'm 49 now. So I have quite a bit of experience with firearms... That is a huge boast.. without the aid of over concentrating O2 into your system it is impossible to hold your breath without O2 you could only hold it for about 6 to 10 minutes..

Everyone broke for a door except me. I was taking very short shallow breaths. Yeah, eyes were pouring and more snot than I knew a human could produce was running. But me being stubborn I stood there not flinching. They made me do it again and stand longer. I was holding my breath except for shallow breathing. Being from German farmer stock I have been known to be stubborn. I would not let a little CS gas screw up my day. Same thing with shooting. Depends on a lot. Every company is different for prior service. Some allow them to have their own bays (if there’s enough and usually NCO prior service only), some make em stay with everyone else. Some give them there phones and a PX pass on Sunday, some don’t. Hell some companies might get 1 or 2 passes all of the 22 weeks. But regardless, you’ll do all the same training as the privates. And for combat jobs in OSUT, basic and infantry school are pretty much the same thing, but a little less yelling and more mentoring. Give it’s been 5 years since I went so things might’ve changed.

On the pugal sticks or whatever they are called they had us go in with 3 people with 2 more ready to go in when someone finally got knocked on their ass. Every man for himself. I did not last very long, I took one to the side of my head that gave me a bright flash and I felt like I floated to the ground. They said I hit the ground hard. Things people will do to take a break. knowwhutahmean?

Hello ! They forget that you prepare mentally, CO2 accumulates in the oxygen, the feromones are released after 10 minutes with a lot of practice, after that everything takes place in the head, nitrogen only accumulates in the blood when you breathe, we breathe, Not here, after 12 minutes everything takes place in complete calm and the body relaxes. !!! From a depth of 80 to 100 meters you have a reverse pressure, everything wants to escape from the lungs, and this then leads to a controlled escape into the lungs from one to the other and that is the art of mentally controlling breathing without the air escaping uncontrollably , the only thing that counts here is the nitrogen that forms in the blood, your lungs will then hurt and you will either lose power, or you will emerge before the nitrogen in the blood predominates. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
