Same feelings about Omnimon (Omegamon); I begged my mom to take me to the theater to see the first Digimon movie when I was like 11. It had been out for a couple weeks so the theater was practically empty and she really didn't want to take me. I had a couple of Digimon magazines that talked about the movie already so I was beyond hyped. Seeing Greymon in the opening on the big screen in that high quality art style compared to seeing it on our tiny TV at home was mind blowing, and then the reveal of Omnimon towards the end was something else. I even had the soundtrack on CD. I had (have) a "cheap" Omnimon toy that has a good size but doesn't really articulate well and I never could get new Digimon toys. Now I have kids and my 6 year old loves Digimon. I just found and ordered all 3 of these figures for his Christmas as he's been playing with my old ones (and it's so hard to find kid appropriate Digimon toys since it's just not as popular now). Really appreciate you doing a video review of these as they look amazing to play with compared to what we had back in the 90s / early 2000s! Can't wait to start picking up some of the Bandai model kits ;)
As someone who owns the Amplified model kit of Beelzemon, I think the Anime Heroes is still amazing. It still looks really cool, way better than you'd expect for a $20 figure and honestly I wouldn't mind having one myself, it's a very different design from the model kit so they'd actually rather compliment each other than replace or compete. Though right now I'm holding out for a newly molded SHF Beelzemon PCE with a Blast Mode and/or bike. Bandai gave us a new mold for Gallantmon and everything so there's reason to have hope for me.
@@Soundout12 Absolutely agreed- I don't care if that inflates the prices a little, we're long overdue for another proper articulating Beelzemon Blast Mode figure (NXEdge doesn't cut it for me since that's a specifically stylized one), and I think SH Figuarts is the way to go now that they're remastering and even outright remaking their Digimon figures- It'd be a nice justice to do to revisit the D-Arts and finally put out the stuff that was promised with it in a brand new mold and paintjob- It'd look great next to the Amplified Kit or the Anime Heroes figure. And it'd finally give us a new Blast Mode after a very, very long time. Would be a must-buy for me.
@@Soundout12 Yup, got Alphamon and Gallantmon recently and they definitely put a dent in my wallet, but at least with Alphamon, I think it was justified because we got Ouryuken parts that let you Digivolve him and De-Digivolve him as you please- Something they obviously can't pull off with Gallantmon due to how different the Crimson Mode is, but with Beelzemon, just the Deathslinger, an alternate head with green eyes and the wings is all they need- So I definitely think it's plausible because of how Alphamon was done and would just be a bit of a waste of potential if they didn't do it. While I could take or leave Behemoth, it'd be nice to get that too and sorta have a complete package, but that one isn't something I'm super holding out for compared to just a Blast Mode figure in the modern SH Figuarts style. They could make the wing articulation similar to the Imperialdramon figures and we'd have probably the definitive Beelzemon by far.
Wow, I was only super interested in WarGreymon when these were announced because I already had Beelzemon's D-Arts and Omnimon's articulation looked a little limited in the photos, but actually seeing them up close like this makes me want all three! (ESPECIALLY Beelzemon! Tamers made him my favorite Digimon ever, and I thought I was good with the D-Arts, but just seeing how much BIGGER and more anime accurate THIS one is for only twenty bucks completely blew my previous expectations out of the water! Definitely a must-buy now!) Hopefully these do well enough that we'll see a lot MORE Digimon in the line in the future. I'd love the rest of the Adventure 2020 Megas (especially HerculesKabuterimon or BlitzGreymon/CresGarurumon) or Gallantmon Crimson Mode!

Wargreymon is the only decent one.. Beelzemon is messed up with that super long proportion and Omegamon you will get the bent grey sword if you are unlucky.
If they make an Ulforce one of these, I don't know how I'd hold my excitement. That aside, I bought an Omegamon at comic con (these figures sold like crazy, they sold their stock in a couple hours). My one has a better looking cannon than the one shown here and I expected the sword to be quite droopy because its a similar material to my lucina amiibo, so I wasn't disappointed by that. Overall I think it's a great figure, though a bit fiddly to articulate, so I'm definitely getting the other 2 when I can.
WarGreymon is missing paint on the claws, the torso and the underwear. All those can be fixed but the shoulder pads needed to be conected with the arms not the torso, that makes it impossible to pose.
They have all 3 at my local target, but I picked up the wargreymon and then checked out your video to ensure the other 2 were equally good. Can't go wrong with a good wargreymon, and they're nice and weighty to.
I really waiting for angemon, angewomon, devimon & lady devimon. Togemon will be epic, I never seen it since 2000's. Maybe they will release the most popular first, just like metal garurumon, paladin & paildramon.
Great review. Out of all the Anime Heroes thus far and Dragon Stars, the Digimon line is, by far, the most superior. The figures feel high quality. Then don't have that cheap glossy look and feel like the Dragon Stars figures or the Naruto figures. The articulation is great at well. The Digimon line reminds me more of the higher end Gundam Universe figures. Definitely can't wait to see what characters Bandai will add to this line.
Without a doubt, this is an economical option that is within the reach of a large number of DIGIMON fans and I hope that for the next releases they announce... I don't know, Meicrackmon would be the first option, maybe a Leomon or Mervamón.
I'm disappointed this subline seems to have been a bust (though Anime heroes in general remains a prominent brand). Feel like this would've been perfect for some underdone humanoid digis (desperate for a well-articulated Stingmon figure here)
Does anyone know if the parts can be interchanged with wargreymon sh figuarts or figure rise? I want to see if can find a pair of fists whitout the claws for this figure.

Yeah, Amplified is huge. Anime Heroes Wargreymon, however, is still a good size. 6 inches tall, but it feels very chunky (in a good way). Much taller than the S.h.figuarts version.
It does make more sense now, buuuuut back when the dub named him Omnimon, Alphamon had yet to exist. So its likely that Bandai using Omegamon more now due to the Alphamon connection
I hope they move on to other big Digimon from the anime, such as Daemon, Mummymon, Arukenimon from season 2, Lucemon base or fallen from season 4, As far as the omnimon/omegamon thing it seems they have been kinda back peddling on the name since we have Alphamon in the west and the name change ruins the dynamic

I have the D-Arts and the Shodo so I don't really feel like I need another WarGreymon, but I'd be all over a BlackWarGreymon!

If Bandai did a PCE Beelzemon I’d hope they just put the Blast Mode stuff and the Bike in the same box so we don’t get teased again

I'd love UlforceVeedramon, Andromon, or even a Jesmon tbh. So many Digimon. Wargreymon X and MetalGarurumon X too.

They’re about the same size, but the neck joints are different size and shapes. It could be done but it’ll take a lot of heavy modification

i believe omnimon was a mistake, it should always have been omegamaon since it's "counterpart" is Alphamon so Alpha / Omega makes waaay more sence
