Extreme Stealth Camping in an Abandoned Hospital during a Noreaster | Did I Capture Paranormal?

Welcome back friends and thank you for checking out today’s video. I’ve been wanting to do this hospital campout for a while and the rain storm (Nor’easter) seemed like the perfect, no people around opportunity. Did I capture any paranormal activity in here? I believe I did. Feel free to let me know if you heard anything I may not have.
The sanatorium opened its doors in 1910 for the treatment of those with tuberculosis. In the 1950s, following a decline in the number of tuberculosis cases, the sanatorium began treating patients with other crippling conditions. In 1963, the State Sanatorium was renamed as a Hospital.
The building I camped in was used to house children before being turned into administrative offices.
One of several buildings on the hospital campus, the main children’s ward building was built in the 1930’s, Inside was a section for infants and toddlers, and another section for older children afflicted with tuberculosis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and other crippling diseases. The building is now in extreme decay and in danger of collapsing.
On the facade of the original children's ward is a still intact ceramic artwork piece, a colorful scene depicting young children offering or taking bread and pie from a central figure wearing a crown and sitting in a large chair. It is believed to be from a nursery rhyme.
This hospital has sat derelict and abandoned since the 1990’s.

Hey Marlo! It's amazing how fast buildings decay after being abandoned. You would think this place had been abandoned far longer than the 1990's. It's like the soul of a building leaves when the people leave.
All that door slamming was freaky even though there was no question it was the wind. It'll still play with your mind especially at night. The timing couldn't have been more perfect when you said you were going back down the stairs you came up and the door immediately slammed shut! It was like the spirits were saying, "No you're not!"
As you said, it was nice to have a roof over your head on this camp out. I was thinking about the open door before you mentioned it. I think it's best to secure yourself if there's a way to do it. Even if the door didn't lock, I think it's better to have the door shut. That way you would have a chance of hearing someone trying to come in on you before they got to you. With it storming like that outside I know it's unlikely someone would come to the building, but in a building that size it would be easy to miss someone that didn't want to be found when you're clearing the building alone. Keeping the door closed would also keep the room a little warmer even with the air conditioning on full blast!
You got some pretty good EMF activity there. I couldn't make out what was on the voice recorder, but my hearing is still back to 100% so I wasn't surprised. I agree old hospitals should be good places for paranormal activity. Many people have undoubtedly passed away there so I would think there would be some good activity. I would like to see you do a full-on paranormal investigation at this hospital and other places too. If you decide to do so, you might want to invest in come cat balls and a REM pod.
As stealth camping goes, this was a good location. Anytime you can have a roof over your head and four walls around you while camping makes it much nicer! I've never tried dehydrated foods, but the chicken alfredo looked really good!

Hey my friend, thank you. After the camp I thought shutting the doors would of been better off. I could of used a board to secure the door in the room I stayed in and shut the front door… would of been warmer for sure.
I have cat balls but not a rem-pod. Maybe ill go back for a full on paranormal investigation because I absolutely feel there was activity.
I originally wanted to camp out in the morgue in the main hospital but it was recently boarded up. That was my plan.
I like stealth camping and the next one is a car camping adventure in a very stealthy location 😎
I had fun in this hospital but truthfully my nerves and senses were on full alert, lol.

As active as that place seems to be, I think adding a rem-pod to your equipment would be very beneficial. In the meantime, looking forward to the stealth car camping video! 👍👍

Noreaster stealth camping in abandoned hospital, this was an incredibly nerve wracking adventure! The door slamming at the beginning was insane and the evps were unreal! I would be on extreme alert too! Although very creepy, your setup made it a bit cozy. Very cool experience my friend, thanks for sharing 🤠🌲☕

Hi Marlo, nice explore. I don’t mind watching whatever makes you happy to share with us. Some of the best memories I have of ue are staying up in ny staying all weekend roaming the buildings. Waking up before sunrise and sitting on the roof tops making breakfast just being out in decay.

I watched the video with my 17 yr old daughter this morning. When you got video of that door closing, every hair on my body stood up. 😳 Her expression was priceless. 😳 And that emf detector - wow!

Hi marlo. firstly I want to say please stay safe dear. I would never be able to relax in that environment. I listened to what you heard several times and it does sound like a giggle from a young girl. I heard the voice that said what is going on and I got goosebumps. the little girl may have been afraid of what you were trying to do as she most likely has not seen that device you used. to answer your question, i would never do this but if I did, I would of closed the door instead of leaving it open and I would not have slept at all. nope! i enjoyed this a lot but please be safe and aware. I would also watch whatever it was you put up and thank you for asking us.
Hey Sue… after the camp, the next day, I thought about what I should of done differently and closing the doors would of been better. There wasn’t much relaxation going on, lol. I absolutely believe you’re right… the little girl was probably confused seeing my devices and thats why she said “whats going on” i also believe she laughed at me when I was poking around each room. My original plan was to camp in the morgue in the main hospital but it was recently boarded up again. The activity captured in here took me off guard. In retrospect, barricading the doors would of been better. Thank you so much for checking this out ☺️

@@ExplorewithmeMarloC I was going to mention the best way to stay warm in a sleeping bag is not to have your cloths on, wearing the cloths traps moisture, it was fifteen degrees below zero and in my tent in a sleeping bag no main cloths and i didn't get cold, learned that camping in the mountains, the issue is getting out of the sleeping bag and getting dressed, like getting dressed real fast and making a fire asap lol

Another great video!!! You're way braver than I am. It took a lot of courage to do that stealth camp!!! You go girl!!! As for sleep mats, I just bought a gear doctors Apollo air mattress from Amazon. I got the large one because I'm a side sleeper and like more room on my sleep mat. They are on sale now. They have a life time warranty. I've tried it out and it sleeps really good. I am very happy with mine. I really enjoy watching your adventures. Thank you for filming them for us to enjoy.

This was a amazing thrilling footage from you like the '' old day's '',the way you kicked door's open, i love it 🙂 And that door in the beginning when you enter that hallway in the children's ward ain't be the wind because it was allready very windy outside for a long time and that door just slammed at you for some reason but not the wind. Those emf readings where responsive and those voice recorders are very clear. I could heard first '' hello '' and later a shuffle and a loud banging. The flashlight: i use a NiteCore E4K with 4400K lumen, but pretty much the same specks i gues. A breathtaking video from you and i hope you will have more from this in the future, its your thing !

Marlo you got Ballz big as balloons.lol. But do yourself a favor please and get a good mask for when you explore these places. The steal and glass dust and lead paint in there can really mess you up down the line. I have pulmonary disease from messing around in places just like this . Especially on a windy day like you picked to go. Be safe out there.

Hi Marlo loving your vids, I like your approach and the great attention to details you give for the beginner when camping.
I am also a 25 year plus veteran parapsychologist and paranormal investigator .
Can I suggest when using the K2 as a communication device, only ask one question at a time, such as " are you a man ?" If you get no answer then ask "are you a woman ?" This way you get a response to the relevant question and don't miss the relevant response.

Those beers were properly chilled because the mountains were blue! 😁👍At 27:43 the wind really kicked up. At 31:07 I thought I could hear a male disembodied voice whispering but I couldn't make it out.
It was insane with the wind at times, thought the blinds were going to rip off the wall. I can’t make out a male voice distinctly but I do hear a something.

But there are lighter flavors and thats what I like. I don’t like heavy or dark beer.

I would love to go to a place like this and explore during the day for a few hours or so, but would never try and sleep there, you're a much braver soul then I. Also just wouldn't sleep at all in a place I felt uncomfortable in, and this would certainly qualify! (hey that rhymed). As far as the door of the room you were camping out in, I kept saying in my head "close that door when you go to sleep". One man's opinion, those noises all night would not sit well with me regardless if I knew it was the wind or whatnot. You seem to be a Coors girl, my father's favorite. My go to plain old domestic brew would be regular old Budweiser (Bud heavy as I call it, to differentiate from Bud Light when you order it at a bar/restaurant). Not sure a 30 pack would give me enough courage to do this though! Those midweek storms sucked, so you toughed out not just a creepy abandoned hospital in parts unknown (IYKYK.. I dont) but that crap weather. Enjoyed the voyage, Cheers!
I didn’t do much sleeping that’s for sure but I did get a few winks in between the fear, lol.
The next day I thought about what I should of done differently and closing the door was what I should of done. My fear told me to leave all doors open just in case I had to run from anyone or anything 😂
For beer I just happen to like Coors light.. it’s refreshing and well…. Light. I don’t like bud light but i think you’re the guy I should ask this question. What light beer or beer do you recommend I try knowing I like Coors light? I’ll try out what you recommend on my next camp.

@@ExplorewithmeMarloC I'm actually not a huge fan of Coors Light but I don't dislike it. I was thinking about this today and the beer that I think may be most similar would be Yuengling. They have different varieties (including a Light version which I've never tried) but the regular lager would be my recommendation. Hope you enjoy!
