- This video we widen an s10 front frame section and grafted it onto a 55-59 chevy truck rear frame section, it turned out pretty wicked and I can’t wait to get it under the panel truck.

Hey Zack, I've just recently found your channel and binge watched all your videos over the past couple of weeks. I actually met you at Motorama this year and had no idea who you were LMAO. I did score a couple of your sweet stickers which are proudly displayed on my beer fridge. My dream car is my 49 Pontiac which was in the Mayem section of Motorama. This winter we are going to completely tear down and rebuild my sons 85 S15 Jimmy which sadly caught fire a couple of months ago. Also some more work on the Pontiac. Very cool, nice work! I'm currently working on my 66 Studebaker, while keeping it a driver for the moment, needs quarters, trunk floor and some body mounts on the passenger floor and I just got a welder from Canadian Tire two weeks ago.

I know this is a bit old now, but I have an S10 frame that I need to widen 4 inches total in the front. I love what you did here and great work. I was wonder though, since I only need 2 inches either side, would it not be easier to widen the control arms (A-arms) the 2 inches I need?
You could probably widen the control arms, but the only thing with that is you might change the suspension geometry a little and if you ever have to replace one you’d have to build another one, if I was to do it again I’d just widen the frame, might seem like more work but probably save you a bit a headaches later. I’m no expert tho, hopefully this is some food for thought!
