Another great video. I enjoy seeing hikes that are not as well known.
Thank you my friend! I appreciate your support and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I have a series starting soon on the Cherokee Trail. Invite your friends and family to subscribe and comment. Thanks again!
Nice hike ❤️👍
Thank you Roni.
20 miles? Wow, even on the flat that's admirable!! Hope you slept better after that - looks like beautiful country.
Thank you for watching my friend! My brother nearly killed me with that 29-miler. 🤣 It is pretty country and wonderful people.
Great hike Dan. You have a fantastic evening 👍
Thank you my friend! So glad you enjoyed the video. Have a wonderful evening and weekend.
Great part 1! The bridge was sketchy but cool at the same time!
Thank you for watching! There were several of these bridges. Some had newer decking, but most had these rotting trestles. This was one of the better ones. 😂
Hello Dan , very good video . Stay safe !!
Thank you Del. Glad you enjoyed the video. Have a wonderful week ahead.
Nice flat trail...
To bad about the traffic...
And the dogs, roosters and coyotes!
That bridge was cool!
Keep going, kaat
Thanks Kaat! It’s a good trail, just a bit noisy. 🤣 Thank you for watching. All the best to you and yours.
Looks like a great time. I’m hoping to do the entire trail this coming winter.
That’s a great time to do it. We enjoyed it. The people make it even better. Wonderful people from start to finish. Thanks for watching!
65 to 78 degrees in January sounds wonderful. Gotta watch your steps carefully on that rail bridge with all the gaps. Love the drone shots!
Thanks Ken! Yes, 70s in January is crazy! Wonderful people in every little town we visited. The bridges were awful! That was a good one. 🤣 I thought of you when I was flying the drone.
Best hiking 🎉
Thank you my friend! It was a good time to hike with my brother. Thanks for watching!
Fantastic channel and great video. I found you from the challenge you gave a tramp in the hills 12 photos. So happy to hear how much Texas hospitality
You received from the first campsite to the shed towards the end. Love hiking videos and you have alot for us to watch and add to our list. We just put out our Mt St Helens hike but looks small next to your 61 mile challenge. Amazing ! New subscribers can't wait to see more.
Thank you and welcome to the channel! Tramp in the Hills is a great guy. I’m looking forward to watching your Mt. St. Helens. That’s no small task!! I appreciate you commenting and will always try to answer.
The people in this location seem very friendly! That bridge was more than a little sketchy! Your lucky nothing happened
The people are wonderful and yes, the bridge is sketchy. But it was one of the better ones. 🤣
Glad we could treat you right when you were here, y'all come back now and thanks for visiting!
Thank you. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. It was a great adventure because of great people. I look forward to the next time. Thanks for watching
Good hike Dan.. Not as much spring in my step as well anymore... We do what we can.. Some decking on the bridge would not hurt.. Well obviously a rail trail Great stories Dan!
Thanks Max! Yes, this is a rail trail. The fourth one I’ve hiked. Needs a lot of work, but they have dreams and that’s the important first step. Thank you for watching. One day I hope to join you on a trail in Wyoming.
@@WanderingMonkHikes That would be awesome.
And 4 days later, it’s 7 degrees here! 😂
Crazy, right!?! 🤣
Hey Dan! Wow! What a change in temperature. I rather enjoy hiking in temperatures near freezing. Too bad about you not having much of an appetite after a 20 mile hike. I would think you'd be starving. Thanks for bringing us along and sharing.
Thank you for watching Jonny! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I like cooler temperatures when hiking, but it isn’t always possible to select the right weather on the trail. My appetite is getting weird as I get older. 🤣
Hi Dan! Loved the old railway bridge👍 It probably won't be many years before it's gone for ever 😟 Great to see these traces of history! Sounds like you came across some wonderful people also!👍😊
Thank you Des. These were amazing old bridges. This was one of the better ones. 😆 Recording things that will vanish from existence soon is a great opportunity for these adventures. Yes, the people are amazing as well. Thanks again for watching!
Fantastic hike man, this was one outstanding piece of content. Brilliantly edited 🔥🔥
Thank you so much. I appreciate your encouragement and I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Dan, did you forget your bike? or is that a typo in the title?🤣
👍👍
It’s a typo. I never ride a bike. 🤣 Thanks for watching!
Looks great...are there any states that you have not walked in?
🤣 Alaska. I’ve never been to Alaska. 🤣Thanks for watching Steven.
That's awesome you guys got to do this together. Tx hospitality sounds awesome. That boardwalk bridge looked rough. It sounds like that lady and her family offering the shed was awesome. Wow big difference in temperature. That's awesome trail angel magic 🤩
Thank you Nicole. We enjoyed being out on trail together. It’s a real treat. This was one of the better bridges!🤣 Yes, the people there were terrific. More to share in the second half video. Thanks for watching!
Definitely a trail less traveled. You probably saw no other hikers the entire trip.
Absolutely no one else was out there. 🤣 I did see a few horses, cows, deer, an even a lone coyote. Thanks for watching my friend!
