The Computer Science for Social Good Research Group is thrilled to invite you to our groundbreaking "Hacking the Digital Health" Hackathon, where innovation, creativity, and teamwork will converge to revolutionize the future of healthcare!
    With this extraordinary things Brunel University London hosted an event on the 12th may to 18th of May 2023, this event promises an exhilarating blend of online brainstorming and in-person collaboration at the esteemed Brunel University London. Funded by the prestigious 2022-23 seminar series, this hackathon aims to create a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration in the realm of digital health.
    Unlocking the Power of Smart Healthcare:
    Digital health holds the key to "Transforming Health and Care Beyond the Hospital," a crucial theme set by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). With smart healthcare being a complex socio-technical challenge, this event seeks to bring together visionaries and change-makers from academia, industry, and the public sector. Together, we will explore innovative solutions to leverage data in smart homes, bridge social class disparities in access to digital health technologies, and enhance usability for older age groups and differently-abled individuals.
    Collaboration and Competition:
    The "Hacking the Digital Health" Hackathon will be a haven for free-thinking, creativity, and camaraderie. Over 25-30 participants will brainstorm, collaborate, and present their groundbreaking ideas through a blend of online tools and face-to-face meetings. The judging criteria will encompass technology, impact, and presentation, and the winning teams will receive generous research seed funding awards:
    First Prize: £600
    Two Runner-up Prizes: £200 each
    A Gateway to the Future:
