Logitech will never beat the quantity of other manufacturers but it is hard to argue with their quality. I have owned at least 6 sets of "high -end" pedals. Fanatec GT2 GT3 wheels are all in the trash while decade old Logitech models are still going strong.
When I opened my g27 to fix 60 windows wheel I looked at year of production -2010.01( 14 years today), and with max feedback with out ventilation it still goes strong and I m pretty much in bronz / silver level. Sure next will be G Pro DD.
From what I understand, you will want the playstation compatible one because the playstation chip is in the base. You are suppose to then get Xbox compatibility through a chip in the exchangeable wheel. If all goes to plan licensing wise, the playstation one will be the best version of this wheel to choose and have both systems covered.
On forza motorsport 2023 You can use any usb pc handbrakes with any wheel on the xbox series . Just map the handbrake key to the Keyboard input section of controller key binding
I bought Logitech G Pro wheel and pedals back in July and so far I am very happy with it. I bought it because their customer service is highly rated compared to the others. The wheel feels very solid and does not have play like one other popular vendor. The wheel also works with both console and PC. Pricewise I think it compares well against others.
There is a great diff in the pedals, I upgraded from a G920 to the Pro, but I am not sure if you'll be faster because there is a slight learning curve with new pedals, but everything works fine; I also have the adapter which allows you to use the loadcell pedals with any G-wheel, @@alexeichikish2221
They had them on discount for Christmas pay 1020 before taxes try finding a coupon for extra discount but non of the code work so I purchased with a credit thats giving me a 10% cash back base wheel and petals they arrived today it’s a huge different from the g29

I went with the T818 because I had already had a few rims from upgrading my G920 to the Tx leather edition and buying a few add on wheels. Only reason I didn't get the G Pro is the lack of ecosystem (also it's REALLY expensive, but the T818 should be cheaper as well!). Love the T818, powerful, great feeling FFB and I have a few add on wheels. Almost went Fanatec but my mate waited about 2 months to get all the bits of his "bundle", and I'd got the T-LCM pedals for £80 2nd hand

Are you on PS5? I would like to improve my breaks first and hope Logitech has a more affordable and competitively priced wheelbase in the future. Something to compete with the Moza R5 would be great.

I did buy the g pro pedals and g hub and hooked them up to my g29 wheel base. I love them. If I was to buy today which I’m not yet I guess I would go with the fanatec csl dd that work with all three platforms, ps5 Xbox and pc.
My g pro died many months ago and I still don’t have a replacement. So be careful talking that nonsense. Logitech support it as bad as I’ve experienced. Only thing that worked is contacting my credit card company. Logitech support = East Asian call center that can’t do sh*t.
Ps5 dd wheelbases are all expensive. Try looking on the local Second hand market from a reputable seller. I’ve seen some GT DD pro kits for around $700-750.

I purchased one and sent back within the 30 day window. The wheel was too thin and with the forces my hands were hurting. I prefer a thicker rim like Fanatec wheels. All in all it has neat features, but couldn’t justify keeping with the feel of the wheel.
Gloves make your hands fatter not the rim, I don't need gloves to drive my Focus sorry ass estate, or the Leon Cupra Turbo I had before or my FFB wheel with and any of my rims, although I did on the Open Wheel add on as it dyed my hands black for a bit! "Gloves" are to keep your hands warm "Racing gloves" are for extra grip but mainly to stop your hands burning in a fire" @@3rddude
Hey, here in Brazil the complete kit with pedals is sitting at 9500R$, to get for example a moza r9+ wheels+crp pedals it would be around 13000R$. Does the Logitech stack up enough to be worth paying significantly less? Or the extra money for the moza kit is worth it?
I'm sure this wheel does its job but the price is just ridiculous. There are at least 5 better and much more affordable wheel bases in the market right now and same applies for the pedals. Thrustmaster and Logitech are just playing the popularity card but informed customers would never buy a high end wheel or pedals form them.
Just noticed you can get a pc only version of the wheel base for a couple hundred dollars cheaper over the xbox/ps5 versions.

And xbox is pretty much dead in the water anyways. Best resale value will be the ps version.

In the UK it is a 1000 pounds which is too expensive in my opinion. The G920/29 series is probably enough for casual drivers.

Yes, You can remove the clutch. I seen someone configure it to a handbrake.
you can remove all the pedals from the base and use them on an inverted base, the rig base and many other ways.
