Thanks on all fronts! Exactly, the MB give more control than Dopamine. My Type A preset shown in video at about 50% dry/wet is good starting point, so try that out if you want :)

Thanks. Have not tried it personally. Doubt anything can beat the ProQ3 workflow for daily use. Demo them both and see what YOU like. I've used the ProQ3 and Melda EQ for years, and I know I can trust their sound quality - important not to forget that, since they touch almost every instrument in your mix. Try boosting and cutting the same area on two different EQs. Even with the same settings, they will sound different.

Awesome! I used my custom presets for most of the video. But, I find the fastest workflow is to find a preset you like, modify it to perfection, then save your own bank of presets. Then you can start to flip through your own favorite presets. Try that!

I'm currently eyeing the UAD Essentials Edition and the SSL & Harrison Consoles Vocalstrip & Vocal Flow Bundle ($49 vs $29), but I wonder if channel strips are helpful, thoughts?
Thanks! All depends on your goal. Wha tool is missing from toolkit? What tool will help you most? Seems like improving vocals is the goal. In that case, the SSL vocal strip would be more helpful for vocal control and the UAD bundle would be better for adding a vibe.
The Pultec from The UAD essentials bundle is great to boost the high on a vocal, the oxide tape is good to glue or distort a vocal, the galaxy space echo adds delay with character, the LA2A helps even out a vocal sound, etc. Try the demos, and get whatever you will use most.
Does the UAD Edition reuqire UAD Spark to run the UAD Essentials Edition?? And once you purchase the edition it's for lifetime right?

That was one of the Arturia synths. Jupiter, Juno, or Oberheim. Not sure which. They all are based are simple waveforms, so you could prob copy the sound without too much effort.

It's lifetime, all native plugins for 299. Spark is different thing, it's a subscription so you use all plugins until you pay. So you do either not both at the same time.@@yudhirgautam1645

There is no easy way to export presets on native UAD plugins. Just take a screenshot, and copy the one you like.

Slate Fresh Air has that artificial OTT ish high-end when pushed hard. Type A and Gem Dopamine are much cleaner imo. I like Type A most cause it multiband. But you might like Dopamine because it is single band. Thanks for the kind wishes.

I struggle with mental health issues (i hope its not that) they can be very draining on the mind especially when doing things like drinking alcohol, etc. so i feel you with the health stuff! Dont over do it. Get plenty of sleep! I recently discovered I needed more than 8 hours of sleep to be functional. ( I get at least 10 hours of sleep). Not sure im firing in the dark here but I hope mentally you are okay and I know youtube can be a toll on your mental health

Greatly prefer Cherry Audio's offerings to Arturia's for analog emulation. Better sound at a better cost. If I had to only pick one, Dreamsynth is a novel hybrid combining a lotta the best vibes.
Also the UI is nicer
Great, use whatever inspires you! I bought the Cherry Audio DCO-106 (Juno-106 clone) a while back. Sounds thinner and more 2D to me than Softube and Arturia.
I prefer uhe & Softube to Cherry Audio/Arturia!
I just buy this stuff and hardly ever use them to be honest. It just never occurs to me to try a system 8 on this track or a Jupiter here. Maybe in the future a daw could capture all your presets and scroll through them. I think the clap project might aim to do that because all my clap plugins presets register in my browser

0:40 is the Arturia Jupiter 8 emulation (Jup-8V) with 2 EffectsRacks on it. 1:45 is the Arturia SEMV2. Both part of Arturia bundle.

PS the API by plugin alliance is as good as uad’s
I tested the SBC (PA Api-2500 clone) as well. UAD API-2500 is much better imo. If you clone the same settings, and compare each side by side, i think you will agree.
