I work at the island in piegon forge. You aren’t required to wear a mask there. 80% of people there don’t. Also it’s spring time so it’s super busy. Everyone on spring break.

It's changed considerably since I first been there. I started my journey's there in 1964
Looks like they keep adding in building bringing something new every year that’s what’s so awesome about the Smokies thanks for taking us on a tour well hope you guys are doing well
Husband and I will be going with our 3 littles for the first time for our 10 year anniversary in May! Can’t wait

You guys are going to love it. My sisters and I made Gatlinburg our place for vacation. Definitely go eat at mama's farmhouse, the titanic museum and if you all can, the dolly stampede. It's a lot to do there. Food is amazing and the people are so kind. I hope you all have a safe and fun trip.

Thanks Will and Dawn for showing some new attractions coming. Got to do the Rowdy Bear coaster and glider a couple years ago so can't wait for the new one!
We almost always see a movie at The Forge or the other movie theater at Governors Crossing. It is our rainy day activity or a late night activity.
Thank you when we can't go we can watch you and get to enjoy the area. I just love it. Keep up the good work. Live you two.

Looks like they have some really neat things coming to the area soon. Seems it changes everytime we visit. I been seeing about that drive in for a couple years and wish it would get done, would be a great experience. You guys are the best, keep it up. Very informative video!

I'm making my first trip to Tennessee next week I'll be there Thursday your videos are why we chose pigeon forge area as our destination
You may feel overwhelmed at everything there is to do and see. Just say to yourself :"I can andI will come back"!! Enjoy your 1st trip of many. DON'T FORGET THE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK!!!

Yes...some neat places coming, some with a unique flair, some not so much😉 HOWEVER....if it is all so overcrowded, then it becomes unsafe, and I do not know of many who like fighting super large crowds....That takes away from my enjoyment and vacation time😳 Appreciate your explaining some of the NEW, coming to the Smoky Mountains🐾🦊🐺

Do you know the name of the new Soarin’ type ride? That’s my favorite attraction at Disney and we actually cancelled our Disney trip to visit Pigeon Forge because our family loves the mountains so much. So I’d definitely love to visit this attraction if it’s up and running when we are there.

We are going to Pigeon forge, Dollywood ,and Gatlinburg. How many days do we need at say Dollywood & each town to see most things ?
You can do DollyWood in a day. It depends on what you want to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg maybe 2 days at the most

Lot of local shops. Alewife pottery is one spot that would be interesting to visit. Some times they will have bluegrass pickers outside picken.

You know Will we actually live in KC. I think you know that. We're always telling people about how awesome Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg is. So many around here are familar with Branson. Most have never heard of Pigeon Forge. We say it's so Awesome you absolutely should check it out. We wish it was closer. What a Gem. Thank You for keeping us informed. We Love your videos.
My family tell people the same. They are used to Branson. We tell them, if you like Branson, Gatlinburg will blow your mind.

How exciting! We are actually moving to east tennessee this Fall! We are still trying to decide on a area. If you have any ideas of areas that would be great for family and nice neighborhoods i would love any suggestions 😊
Do a lot of homework!! Cleveland, TN is a great place. If you want the YITS area, Seymour is nice. Seviere County is nice, but houses are pricey, and a lot of study is important. Contact a good, experienced, or hungry realtor!! Sevierville is nice, and very spread out. Remember, Traffic is ALWAYS bad on weekends, and barely tolerable March thru December!!! Figure out if you want to live in the action, or near the action. Homes are being built everywhere! Contractors are in short supply, and very busy. The Sevierville Walmart is a bloodbath!! Do you have a career that allows you to live there? Jobs are plentiful, but most are seasonal. The schools each have their own reputation. As I began... DO A LOT OF RESEARCH!!!! Good luck in your quest. 👍
@@derekk6906 Thank you for sharing! Since we are not from there its hard to know where the good and safe areas are. We have a 15 & 13 year old and looking for good schools also. I think we may try renting first and once we are there we can search the areas.
@@Tony-5000 My husband is actually a fisherman in Alaska so it gives us the ability to live where we want. What areas would you recommend out of knoxville? We would love to have some land. We do have kids 15 & 13 looking for goods schools.

Balloon was helium filled, instead of hot air… we liked it but closed down
We where there maybe 2 days before this video to feed the birds. And there’s a feed dispenser over by the mill, and the mill still sells the bird feed. But thought it meant by the picnic tables.
Hoping the soarin type experience is open when I travel there at the end of June. Do you know the full name? Would like to google it!
