CREATE & INNOVATE: Young leader's interview

Our 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 & 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 youth social action programme in Southampton involved young people leading on creative campaigns, addressing LGBTQIA+ healthcare disparities and period taboo through creative mediums such as verbatim theatre, art, storytelling, poetry & music.
Our programme aimed to promote accessible healthcare, normalise conversations, and create a fairer society for future generations through youth-led video campaigns which will eventually be shared with local stakeholders & decision makers.
We are proud to release our 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 & 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 series, in this video we interviewed our young leaders, Imani Okoh (24), Kit Miles (22) and Emily Hindle (27) to understand their experiences of leading on youth social action campaigns through creativity with young people aged 14-25 yrs in Southampton.
