hello! this made me remember when my brother's budgie flew into a wall and somehow the feathers on her head came out. They grew back just fine and everything went well! its good to see someone who knows what they are doing. your videos really do help a lot!
thanks 😇 also it happened once with my budgie Jenny
Awww Benji is so proud of his babies. You can tell his loves them just by standing gaurd in front of their cage. 🥺
New intro is adorable!!!! 💖
Keep up the amazing work!
What an adorable family! 🦜

I actually built something for my birds after being inspired by you!

Hello Denny the budgie
I love the nest box if you bought the nest box on line from where did you buy it from?
Thanks a lot for making this kind of videos many of us have learn from them 😊
Love your enthusiasm, care and love of your budgies. One thing I strongly disagree with your feeding regime is the highly excessive amount of fructose that you have your budgies addicted to. I'm Australian by birth and the dry areas that budgies come from have extremely little sweet fruit. Berries appear after the rain for about one week. Main budgie food by volume is the green stems of grass... they love the new sugary new growth near the ground but the older growth is more nutritious. There are plenty of varieties that you can grow such as wheat, oats etc. Baby amaranth is also an option. The second food in volume are a variety of seeds. As you can see this diet is naturally very high in carbohydrates. Some protein is available by eating their own unfertilised eggs and bugs. The problem with getting budgies addicted to sugar (it's like cocaine for the brain and hard to detox), the budgies become diabetic or prediabetic. Signs of this is obesity, itching of the skin, bad absorption of food. The mother eating the feathers indicate diabetes. Steps to help her are reduce fruit to once a fortnight and only offer dark colored berries. Offer a variety of green grasses (organic) twice a day, give a wide variety of seeds, avoid rice in your soft food meal recipe and invite her to fly as much as possible. Do the same for the father. All the best. I love your videos.
Your videos are so helpful ... thank you for sharing your knowledge... I would like to ask if when the babies are larger and feathers are growing back can they be reunited with mom?
Awwww they look so much like their father
I think I’m the 14 th comment???
Luv your vids Denny!🥰
I love this channel 😊😊

aww 🥺 it my dream to have a baby budgie 💝 but i have two males, prince and legend, that means i cant breed, BUT I STILL ADOREE MAH BABIES

I'm glad I helped! 😇
@@dennythebudgie what age should I separate mom from the chicks?
Wow that's so helpful...
Omg! They're too cute!!!!😍😍😍
Omg THANK YOU for this video... My female Pickle is normally a HUGE B but as a first timemom was an excellent mom.. she had 2 chicks hatch, one 13 days ago and other 11 days ago. She been extremely well with them and very gentle which was surprising to me but I was happy about it, but i came home from work an hour ago today and babys were screaming.. I had to put thick sock over my hand to get mom out of nest box, and check on chicks... I was horrified how badly she was attacking mostly the 13 day old wings, so I have her in separate cage now.. she's absolutely soooo pist and wants to get out and go with babys but I can NOT let her attack them so badly.. we have plenty of food, vegs, egg food, boiled eggs, water, but I think its because we wants to mate again. My son said he saw her and her partner blueberry matting last night.. I absolutely love these little baby parakeets but do not want pickle to hurt or kill them. I'm hoping blueberry will care for them properly as he's been great with them since they hatched. Blueberry is a sweetheart bird but I'm worried he will be overwhelmed now that his partner pickle isn't with him and babys.
The other thing that affects feather and hair growth in humans is excessive exposure to EMFs. Check where your router is located. Definitely turn it off at night. Better still hard wire your installation, place your phone in Faraday bag...
Oh my goodness, I never knew the parents did this! Ouch😬
Is not the babies, is their parents that do it.
-蝶Celest蝶- Oh I see
justbirbvideos just like real life eh?
Parul Begum oh god
They're so cuteeeeee
Another reason for eating feathers is that the mother is chronically vitamin D deficient. Ensure the window has a flyscreen or keep the budgies in their cage, open the window for direct sunlight and give the budgies about 20 minutes per day as close to midday as possible.
Ooo they are so cute i eould like to see mine like this again but i have a question 2 of my budgies enter in their boxes that they can enter and go out by them selfes they have obout 3 months can they have eggs at tgis age??
No
Hi, my both male and female budgies are plucking the feathers of their babies. What should i do?
Hey my baby budgies are like 10 days old and trhey are just starting to grow feathers but the head feathers arent growing and im not sure what to do?
That's so awesome
You know that I have two budgie they are in blue and yellow colour they give 3 eggs 1 budgie colour is green other purple and another like Tony isn't it amazing now I have 5different coloured budgies😄
Oh my god! I need of une...so cute so much
hey, tysm for the vid! but i have a question, one of my budgies have been pecking and plucking another one of my budgies feathers, what should i do before its too late?
Separate them possibly
@@taconado868 ty, ill get another cage asap
Hey how to do brooding of chicks should we use heating bulb or no need of bulb?
Their parents will keep them warm
What is the thing u used to feed your baby budgie
I have one more problem my budgie child is about 3 weeks old he is not having more feathers. how many day does a budgie will have full feathers
We need to give them feeding formula food.U can observe it in one of Jermina's video
They r so cute! I luv baby budgie but I don't get one :(
the mom bird is picking out its both babies feathers and the smaller one is bleeding but my parents keep saying that that’s what birds are supposed to do and told me stop obsessing over them.. the bird is gonna die idk what to do😭😭
if a parent budgie is feeding a baby and then we too handfeed them in between will the parent stop feeeding them
Why r all the chicks green in colour , when the mom is blue in colour , atleast 1 chick should've been blue or white right?
Benji is just like my budgie
I am also hand feeding my baby budgie like that u did but it was hard to do it in big hands😔😔😭 but i am happy that i have 6 healthy chicks🥰
hey i need help with my 2 female budgies they always attacking each other what i must do to make them friends i have 1 male and 2 female budgies is this safe or not?
your channel is the best for budgies
It's pretty safe but some females are territorial and will attack for no reason but if they're fighting too much you should probably separate them for a bit.
Hello! Please answer when do you separate mom and for how long. : D
when she starts plucking them, I keep her separated until babies are fully feathered
@@dennythebudgie ok thx really helpful : )
Awwww ❤️🦜
hey i have some questions . i have been asking other people too but if anyone knows or can help me i will really appreciate it
if might get 2 parrots as a pare (i call it adopt but that means something else ) i can not get 1 only like i planed so i am pretty scared so i wanted to ask
1) what should be the size of the cage
2) how can i train both?
3) if they fight what can i do?
as many people are parrot owner if you can help it will mean a lot for me
thank you
sorry this is not related to the video
First what types of parrots are you planning to get
Training can be used in different ways it usually depends on the personality of the birds
If they fight its best to seperate them
Or get a bigger cage as they may be fighting over territory
Make your own cage as big as possible considering door and corridor width and mobility. Have a linking door so that birds can be separated if needed. Better they meet for the first time in neutral ground and not in their cage. Consider quarantine issues
I also have baby budgies right now
my pet budgies have 3 babies now. but the mother budgie has plucked the feathers on the back of the babies. do I need to separate the mother away from the babies?
Yes, separate female in another cage, let the male raise the babies
@@dennythebudgie thank you!
Can someone tell me, what is my budgie doing? Im a bit worried. I uploaded the video so please help me with the problem and sorry for poor edits.
I’m going to (maybe) have budgie eggs soon! Wish me luck 🤞🏻🙂 Also- what do you use as bedding for the breeding box? I use shredded paper. But I’m looking for another safer bedding
Straw is a good option or wood shavings
amv dude hiii. Thanks for your reply. I can’t find wood shavings anywhere 🥺 But I’ll try! And we have to drive a long way to a pet store that has straw. Since it’s quarantine we can’t drive far.
@@eshal157 No problem and you can find wood shavings in most big stores
good luck! also my birds prefer clean nest but you can put wood shaving
Denny the Budgie Thanks so much much ❤️ I want to ask you if shredded paper is safe.? They LOVE to chew thin materials (such as spinach and paper) I’m just scared they might die 😰
oh my heart
My bird mama did this so the chicks came out of the nest I hand fed them
After 2 terrible and horrible experiences owning budgies, I have an absolute disliking to these birds to the utmost. It's very sad that there are times I see these birds in person or videos, they make me so angry. So I purposely come to these videos to try gain some sort love for these birds, maybe rekindle an old love flame but it has yet to work. My mind constantly goes back to the hell these birds put me through. I've always asked for help from these so called "bird experts" on these CZcams accounts (the little secret is, none of them are "experts, fake it till you make it, they're all full of shit), I've asked so many times and no response but I would get hate messages from random people when I used to explain the problems I'm having. I had one weirdo tell me that, Jesus will guide him?
If a mom plucks a baby’s feathers then leave the baby’s to the dad to take of them
Fell like hug and kiss them 😘😘🥰🥰
Put the lime stone or piece of shell fish inside the nest.
👍✌👌👏👏👏
Handfeeding is the best option....cuz otherwise the father of the baby budgies will get exhausted
