Damage stacking at its finest. High Ground brings some pretty interesting options to the vanguard playlist sniper rifle #destiny2 . I'm not sure I'll end up using it in PvE, but it's good for a laugh in PvP. Might have to get a god roll.

Got to show everyone I don't ONLY think about Fusions. HA. Quick video today, but there's always some secret perk hidden in the Playlist Weapons. Wanted to share what I found unique here in case you're running strikes.
I've literally been playing only strikes this season trying to get the high ground perk 😩

Foetracer and ember of torches. Melee damage will make you radiant and activate surge x4.
YUP. That’s what I was using in both PvE and PvP.
Forgive my lack of knowledge, but how does it activate x4 surge?

Wild card origin trait on a sniper is also great for modes like trials/showdown. Mini ‘telesto bolts’ that drop on location of kill delay revives.
One bolt does enough damage to let you body shot next player as well.
I have a snapshot/HG roll snd its great! Excited to use it some more!
It’s surprisingly good with snapshot. Didn’t love it without that, but once I got a snapshot roll was a really solid sniper
Excellent trigger discipline waiting to make the star wars reference until the end. Also I feel like the weapons team is speaking directly to you with these perk pools and exotic designs this season. Keep it comin' man, miss you now the DMB has ended!

I managed to get a decent roll (snapshot, highground, range mw, smallbore, flared magwell) it's honestly a refreshing sniper thats feels unique, the origin trait is also really fun, it can spawn telesto bolts on kills.
It’s created a whole new strategy in terms of Sniper positioning. I have been commenting since day 1 about this, it’s value is even greater in Trials and Comp… one shot bodies and guaranteed triple telesto to deny res and act as an alarm. I’ve had many collaterals and easy cleanups from it too. Never taking it out my load out! Already sitting at over 1200 kills on it ❤
I've had fun using Lumina for my damage buff. Don"t have to worry about subclass setup as much, just throw it on, buff your teammates, profit.
Lumina is fantastic for this stuff. I heard it's pretty great after the zoom changes too.
Hey SHHHHHHHHHHH! You CANNOT remind people that Lumina exists. That thing has always been good but the zoom changes on top of some of the WILD weapon combos you can do with it now is a serious threat lol. Definitely don't tell people to pair it with summoner to combat people figuring out that precision autos are eating good this season. I totally wouldn't want that information to get out *wink*
@@ShadowNemesis575The one Lumina gripe I have and why I never used it for long is that if you have noble rounds and get in a situation where you would need to hipfire an enemy, you shoot a noble round instead. It doesn't come up often, but it feels awful when it does. I started getting rid of my noble rounds asap so my chances would be less. Bungie should just make it fire a normal dmg and velocity bullet in addition to the noble round.
Oh well though. As long as some people are getting a use out of it that's good. I kinda want to try it again now..

I like it because it reminds me of the dniper used in d1 called tao hua yuan
I have one that has triple perks in both slots. Triple Tap, Heal Clip, Surplus in 3 and High Ground, Explosive Payload, Firing Line in 4.
This thing is a jack of all trades.
Sanguine alchemy on solar kicks it up well past 200, imo this is easier than the void strategy using Frozen Orbit and High Impact Reserves to get 202 damage on the last shot in a mag.

My first roll of this gun has triple tap and precision instrument, I’m thinking about taking it into day one crota
High impact reserves does it also. Iv been doing this high impact sniper/buff one shot on warlock for they last near 2 years. Already have 910 on this new one that came out with high ground.

I got this perk function confused with airborne effectiveness. I didn't know standing on my tippy toes was all I needed to do to activate it lmao.
Been trying to get this one recently, but no luck on High Ground yet xD

Do you intend on making a video on the Point of the Stag? It has swash like bitting winds does.
Tough fight because Last Wish bow is solar and craftable with swash, which means you can have a longer timer with enhanced AND keep it going.
Rain of fire with vex and this sounds like a tasty warlock build for heat rises
Also the persuader sniper rifle, which is a rapid fire, has high ground so I'm wondering if you can double body with the same setup with that sniper

@@Legoleflash ah well I'm using it on an arthrys embrace build, so it's not that hard to proc :') together with an autumn, both perpetual motion and swash. I thought this thing is gonna be busted af on warlocks, but thank eris they excluded airborne...

Totally not viable for a titan main. Whoever thought of radiant needs to be punched in the face. Hunters are literally one button away from damage buff meanwhile titans had to one shot kill melee. So unequal.

well those weapons you grab at end of season when you reset vanguard 4 times to have chance for 3 swappable perks. too bad this season is shit, boring, exotics in playlists gone and no point to play it. i hope this shit game will soon die
