Mr Ajay Kumar, was diagnosed with mouth cancer due to excessive consumption of tobacco. After diagnosing with cancer, for further treatment, his family friend advised him to meet the specialist at Apollo Hospitals. The patient consulted Dr Shishir Shetty, Surgical Oncologist and underwent the treatment. Post the treatment, his cancer is in remission and is doing well. He shares his experience in the fight against cancer and also encourages people to give up tobacco chewing/smoking.

Had similar partial glossectomy and radial free flap reconstruction and undergoing radiation and mild weekly chemo along for six weeks. What about yours diet after treatment and saliva and taste are ok and can you eat normal food roti dal sabzi rice and some pakoda samosa burger pizza hotel food occassionally. Pls reply.
