I'm gonna shake you
Whip you up a frenzy in your heart
I'm gonna break you
Make you wish you'd loved me from the start
Like a rag doll, baby, I'm gonna play you
Shock you, lady then I'm gonna shake you
Baby girl, oh my baby girl
'Til you want me, like I want you
'Til you love me, like I love you
I'm gonna shake you
Rain down kisses on your pretty head
I'm gonna take you
Leave you lying naked on my bed
Gonna chase you, baby, then I'm gonna catch you
Race you lady 'til your heart attacks you sweet thing
Oh, yeah, sweet thing
'Til you love me, like I love you
'Til you need me, like I need you
Shake it, listen up baby
Shake it, hold tight lady
Shake it, I can't take a maybe
Shake it, gonna getcha crazy
Shake it, tears 'll be a tumblin'
Shake it, words 'll be fumblin'
Shake it, pushin' and a shovin'
Shake it, loving is a tough thing
I'm gonna shake you
Whip you up a frenzy in your heart
I'm gonna break you
Make you wish you'd loved me from the start
Like a rag doll, baby, I'm gonna play you
Shock you lady, then I'm gonna shake you, baby girl
Oh, my baby girl
'Til you want me like I want you
'Til you love me like I love you and I do
Shake it, listen up baby
Shake it, hold tight lady
Shake it, I can't take a maybe
Shake it, gonna getcha crazy
Shake it, tears 'll be a tumblin'
Shake it, words 'll be fumblin'
Shake it, pushin' and a shovin'
Shake it, loving is a tough thing

HE SHOULD HAVE TOOK MODELING AND STARTED HIS OWN CLOTHING LINE. HE ALWAYS LOOKED HANDSOME ESPECIALLY THE RED PLAID SUIT.😍😘
george looks better.
That's what I said. Andrew knew he looked good & liked the clothes. He should have down what he was good at
@@markymark4365 George learned from Andrew & George's helpers how to dress. Andy helped him find himself & when he found her he blossomed. Even tho she wound up accidentally hurting him. It drove him to be himself. But, if they could have found each other in normal life we'd have never gotten George Michael. He'd have stayed Yog & got married. So we sorta have that first hurt to thank for GM. We'd have never gotten songs like, Different Corner, I'm your man, Edge of Heaven, Battlestations heck even Fastlove. She's the bad love he was running from. Altho he still called her all the time. He really never let her go. Even when they weren't talking. Elton knew who she was and everything he said was true. Yog loved a woman. He talks about her in depth in Bare
@@markymark4365 Absolutely !!!!!!
Pamela Johnson Plaid suits , uug !
Its a solid song, good job andrew!
i like the song
Poor Andrew never had a chance being in George's shadow and absolutely everything being compared. Considering George was insanely successful at this point and had such a phenomenal talent and then this music is so drastically different from Wham, I don't think people could allow themselves to hear or see Andrew in any other way then what was formed in their minds already.
EXACTLY. You nailed it.
George was and always will be the best !!!!!
No, Messi is the best@@louisescutti1998
This song did better the most of you think. It premiered on MTV and stayed in the top ten for a couple weeks. Considering the music of the time this was no different from others. Considering what he had to do to breakout of Georges 5 oclock shadow, he did much better than expected.
Exactly. It was on MTV for a really long time and no one was complaining. I think people (including Rolling Stone) were hating on it because it WASN'T George Michael. Jeez.
@@edwardhumphries5566 Very True !!!!
This should have been a huge hit. Loved it when it first showed up in 1990.
this is terrible even for teenage pop
LOL
It was a Top 20 hit in Australia.
@@ednan9 Comparing with 2022 garbage this is great song. Anything is.
I bought this album and single. .
Great track.
Love you Andrew I want to meet you
Aside from the rude comments below This is Andrew Ridgeley of Wham. I remember this song and totally dug it. I went out and bought it on. Great song never could understand why it didn't get air play on LA radio.. Ohhhh wait that's right KLOS was to busy playing the Rolling Stones and Who for the Zillionth time and NOT giving new acts any air play!!! Love this song been years since I've played it. Rock ON Andrew....
Seriously? This song doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Jamez Monroe
I never bought his album, are you insane.
It was said to MINDY SCHOCK.
You bought it either because you had nothing better to do, or you didn't know what to spend your money. It happens :))
Maybe she bought his album because Andrew has a pretty face, and girls will buy anything from a guy who has a pretty face.
Well its a lot better than i expected..
Like the lyrics. Andrew was very handsome and I always thought he was a good dresser. He seem to have a little arrogance and you can tell he had the confidence. We have to thank him for helping George build his confidence. Unfortunately for him he could not get out of George's shadow. Not to worry though, he smiled all the way to the bank.
Dorothy Hodge
Dorothy you are 100% correct. George needed Andrew for his confidence, cocky attitude, his sense of style and his genuine friendship.
Andrew helped George with everything, so totally agree with you. And Andrew still makes tons of money on royalties.
Andrew Ridgeley, George Michael, Wham, forever! 👍😎🎸🎤🤠
I don't see why people don't like his album , George helped him with it , and it may not have been pop but its still good music
This whole album needs to be rerelease do and sent straight to number1!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's been re-released by Cherry Red Records.
Wow love this song forever
AWESOME SONG HIT MUSIC :)
Love the song love the video the man can sing❤️❤️❤️
I love Andrew XO ❤️♥️
LOVE this song so much. Had it on 7inch vinyl, played it over & over.
:)
I think if Andrew had just stuck to more pop and r b music his solo music career would've taken off just like Georges did . He's got a good voice.
I seriously doubt that........George Micheal was in his own league.
@@tonibroussard8452 it might've. We dont know.
Lol, Andrew didn't do this song/album to start a solo career. He and George accomplished what they wanted with WHAM! However, per their contract, they owed the record company another album or two.
I love that song
I think this song is actually pretty good!
perfect
This is like Warrant. I fuck with it.
There were a lot of good tracks on this album. Shake, Hangin', Baby Jane...
I love his music so much ❤
Same
2020? 😃
Yes😃😃
This is good, why he didn't continue ???
Because he can't sing 🤣🤣🤣
If this was a WHAM comeback, then this hit would’ve been a completely different story.
My fav one. Cool
Andrew why did you stop you could've made it . I like the song and the sound.
It's hard living under the shadow of a genius. Perhaps had he been associated with a lesser man, he would've been more fairly compared with others of his peer.
Hot song, love Andrew😎
カッコイイ
he waited a bit too long, should have done an album in 1987 with heavy synthesised beats, would have gone down well
Man people are really coming for Andrew it’s a good song and people should just realize that he was trying to be original and if he would have copied George than everyone would be bashing him for it. There is no winning in this life :/ but that’s okay
Exactly, Wendy. He was trying to do his own thing and he was. I don't know why people expected him to sing like George. He was not George and was not trying to be. A lot of these songs were written with David Austin if I remember right.
Hi Claudia, none of those videos I've got.I'm living in asia.Andrew have been to japan about three times to promote his solo album ,they did some interviews with him.He also performed some other songs from the album
Wish you find some Wham appearances from Japan TV. They performed Bad Boys at least a couple of times and more....
I will try my best, thanks!
Sherlock is surfin' Baybehhhhhh....I want the jacket for my birthday ok!! ;) ;)
Love this song, nice beat to dance
In his book, Andrew Ridgeley said he and George Michael worked on a song called WHAM! Shake which got shelved when George wrote Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. I wonder if this is based on that one?
Considering that Yog is all over that album. Not only as a background singer. But he wrote the majority of the songs. You can tell. But they kept it secret for a long time. I loved this album & I loved Andy's voice. It's just Andrew is a whole different man than Yog. He's not an empath and he was more....about himself. Where Yog still had to learn to put himself first.
*I bet the japanese wanted a refund after this bullshit.*
Ammo Man just like they asked for one from Yoko Ono
😍😍😍
I like this!
🤣🤣🤣
So beautiful!
You mean I am the other one? I have it on vinyl. This song should have been a hit, but too bad the media wanted to have a laugh at his expense. This song is good.
This isn't as bad as people like to think. It has a very Rolling Stones /
Cheap Trick feel, with guitars that sound like Kix / Ac-Dc / maybe
even...Stone Roses or Soup Dragons style on the chorus. Great
production, decent vocals. I think it failed because people compared it
to George Michael and at the time he was as big as you could get.
It failed from NO air play. I was in my early 20's when this came out.
Early 20s!! I do admit you still look like you are in your early 20s. Still don't like the song thou, I just find it very amateurish.
Sunny san diego He sings like Yoko Ono
THIS IS GREAT
Good tune, but he didn't really have a hard rock voice.
A natural spinning around with unplugged guitar on stage
Not sure what all the hate is about. It's not the best song I've ever heard, but it's not bad either. He has an interesting singing voice... almost reminds me of Billy Corgan at times.
Ridgleys solo album is up there with the greats such as sgt pepper and dark side of the moon, some even say it surpasses those and who am I to argue with some? Son of Albert was an underated album, those in the know, know, if you know you know, no?
😂
@@devenidarock Am I right or am I right ! ? 😀
So it's not that great..Even George Michael said Andrew was the one with all the confidence..Without him no Wham...Maybe even no George Michael solo career...
Yes, I don't deny that, he had all the confidence, but George had all the talent! Lmao
It's a shame that during the "Wham" days George and Andrew didn't take turns being the lead vocalist on their songs. That way when George departed for his solo career, Andrew would have been just as well known as a lead vocalist as well. ☮✌☮
I was probably one of two people who bought the album... Son of Albert? 20years ago? More? Can't compare to GM...
1990 year
Make that 3. I've still got it, still love it.
OMG this is not so bad as i had imagined!
It makes my ears cry
Same
its not that bad.
Damning him with faint praise
Wow he can actually sing? I always thought that he and George were lovers? Turns out he is straight and lives with a former member of Bananarama.
They were lovers, after a fashion. They had a relationship that ended when Ridgeley got married. My partner attended Bushey Meads and he also worked at BBC. He knew them both very well and he attests to the relationship.
Andrew wasn't capable of being "in love" with George, as he did fancy women. So, that was that. Andrew has never been entirely honest and i would call him out in an instant given the chance.
It's not too bad, I think we're jst all use to the duo and considering that Andrew realistically did not contribute much to Wham, Wham was all wrapped in both George nd Andrew though Micheal would have done fine by himself as well..but come on who can forget Andrews eyes..just saying☺
+Patsy Vasquez Yes he did contribute much to WHAM....what make U think George was the head....he had the voice that lead....I am sure they all agree to that and went from there.....If U have a band with a singer someone is going to be out from....I would take it the guy with the versatile...vocal range...I mean that is how most groups make it.....
Patsy Vasquez yes he did he pushed GM to start the group. he may have not sung anything but he was the push GM needed
Patsy Vasquez Ridgeley is the reason why Michael got into the pop world in the first place. Without Andrew, there'd be no George Michael. If memory serves, he co wrote one or two of the songs as well.
Nigel Greenwood , True story that Andrew had influenced him😊But, he was very young. and I wonder if George would of surfaced eventually as he got older. He probably would’ve gained the confidence to go it alone right away. I pretty much think so. I mean he knew he had talent even before he met Andrew. IMO 🤔Have a nice day😊
Andrew was THE FORCE behind George Michael!
George had the talent, both as the singer and the songwriter. But he was chronically insecure . This feeling of insecure never left him.
He flew all the way to perform this?
👌
😊😃
He was a bit ahead of his time with this one which ended his career.
Does Liam Gallagher kind of sing like this?
He was noweher of his time. Neither ahead, nor behind. What a NONESENSE!!!
LOL
At least he's trying! ... George Micheal (❤) .
Shake me.
🤤😍
Guitar shredders look like they came from Ivy League.
The reason he was not taken seriously is because he did little to show his purpose in Wham . They should have shown him singing and in the studio as a creative force. But he simply lip synced and played air guitar.
This sound is a Far............................... cry from the wham sound. #StickWithWhatYourGoodAt
I kinda like this.
It's pretty obvious that it's actually a recording of the song which is being played. I always used to hate this.
Shake and Red Dress wasn't at all bad especially if compared with other songs from that year.
OMG ! LOL
Andrew's singing is pretty good! I can't say as I've ever heard him before. Unfortunately he was probably compared to George whose style was completely different.
If I had to choose between listening to this again or having a dog fart in my face I'd have to think about it
What kind of dog?
@@jtmvol606 A Corgi
I like his guitar solo on Edge of Heaven.
bro exactly what ive been saying he has really good guitar playing and plus in my opinion his solo songs are bangers and he actually can sing
I don’t think he played guitar I think it was session musicians
sounds like the drums from hard day
Mamooth
Good Lord, Where 's George when you need him.......Ouch!
Huge departure from Wham! Maybe glam metal?
О точно, голос Эндрю Риджли похож на голос Пера Гессла (Roxette). Хотя голос Гессла повыше
These lyrics are rather misogynistic, no?
I don't see it. How so?
I think they're dead sexy. I wish I was lying naked on his bed and he was raining down kisses on my head... and all over me... He's gorgeous.
solid song but how do u compete with late 80s/early 90s GM?!
a. you cant
Not a horrible song but the vocals seemed a little flat but shows that he definitely had talent
music is terrible but he is gorgeous
Andrew should have been a model instead of trying to continue in music. I feel he would have been great at that. To this day he's still an attractive man.
The singing isn't bad. The music is standard for the time. The lyrics, which are bad, were also standard for the time. The issue is Wham! fans weren't into this hair metal sound. It was a miscalculation and fell short of the standards George had set.
Tenía la voz parecida a Vince neil
I don't think this is live.
I've always liked this song! I thought this one rocked! I liked it better than anything he did when he was in Wham. I think the ending is just too abrupt. But outside of that, no problem. I think Andrew should have kept at it!
I respectfully disagree. Are you saying he's a worse vocalist than Justin Bieber? John Travolta? Come on!
LMFAO.
I'd put pee-wee herman up against this clown.
not too bad. not too good at faking guitar
This guy should have stayed hiding behind my boy George.. His album should be called (DAM
No no no no
It's a type of rock I have always liked alot. But I do believe he has a more natural singing voice that would sound better than this. This sounds so "made up". Wham needed him..it was a great decade.
Almost Zeppelin esque...
This is was Andrews attempt to do what George did with Faith.. Big fail... Bad lyrics and that's it.
30 лет прошло, мда...
Hard to watch ...
