Poor kid is being parentified and abandoned at the same time. Hope he/she stays with grandparents as they seem to be good people and make good career hoe themselves and forget about both parents as they seem horrible

This is use and abuse. Tell your grandparents, and next time you're home with them, and the parents ask you to babysit, say NO and refuse to leave. If anyone tries to force you, call CPS. If the parents both work, they can afford a nanny.

Why is she living with her grandparents? Why is she only being invited back home when they need her? Why are they suddenly so busy during the summer? Are they really going to work? Why can't they just drop her off at her real home already? With the people that love her? Why is "having an attitude" towards the people keeping you trapped in their home grounds for throwing a cellphone at a 14-year-old's leg?? (Also, does she not have her grandparent's number? Cuz I'd call them and have them pick me up, even if I had to steal one of my parent's phones in the dead of night.)

if this kid no longer was an illegal custody of her parents there's a reason for that could it be that they're just straight up flaky and disrespectful and take advantage of other people and are bad parents yeah kid you need to go back to your grandparents and stay there and let your parents grow up and be adults no you are not an asshole your parents are assholes

NTA but how can you babysit more than 7 days a week?

Yeah, your mothers kids are called your siblings, not just "your mothers kids". This AI is getting dumber.

It's pretty obvious from the story that she doesn't consider them her siblings tho.

@@NJ-kp3wu It's just bad AI m8. Stuff changes constantly, one minute it's her dad then her stepdad.

@@NJ-kp3wuIt sounds like they may be half siblings. This girl has absolutely no responsibility to babysit them, let alone for free. The parents sound very irresponsible and she should tell her grandparents that she doesn't want to watch them anymore. If the parents want to force her to do it then the grandparents should make them pay her. Two dollars an hour for each child sounds about right. And make sure that they bring her home at a decent hour at the end of the night.

@@Yue_Jin I only heard "stepdad", the word dad was never mentioned even once.

there clearly not raised together, she may not see them as her siblings
