RARE BIRD : BEAUTIFUL SCARLET THE RECORDINGS 1969-1975, 6CD BOX SET

On the 30th April 2021 Cherry Red /Esoteric Recordings , release a 6cd box set of the band Rare Bird . Rare Bird were on the the great "unknown " British bands of the 1970s . They made 5 great albums and were a fantastic live act . This collection covers all their recorded work and a live performance from 1974. The set can be picked up here cherryred.co.uk

When I saw Rare Bird in concert it was from 1974 until they disbanded in 1975 . They played only Title No1again , Baby listen and Hey man from Epic Forest . The rest of the set was taken from Somebody’s watching and Born Again .

Thank you for this. I too love Rare Bird and think they were massively overlooked. I am very curious about your experiences with Rare Bird live. I would love if you could give as detailed an account as you can. What years did you see them? Any live renditions of material from "Epic Forest"? Did they ever perform "Flight" in whole or sections of? Any and all details would be most appreciated. Thanks again.
