2004 Honda Civic D17a9 First Startup After Engine Rebuild

  • For some reason i shredded the timing belt after 30k, so did a rebuild
    got the motor back in and lets hope i have done everything right!!
    So far so good.....!

      I'm about to dive into rebuilding my D17A2, I'll be looking for that same feeling soon...

    Nice 👌, so this was just a top end rebuild? the bottom end is still factory yes?

    i have my valve cover paint the same color I much $ you pay for the Rebuild

      Its a nice color for it he!
      Well did it all myself but spended around 700 euros for parts i needed to
      fix the motor. I also have a rebuild video dont know it you seen that one.

      2 much money with $700 dollar or $700 euros wil buy a l H22 engine only no Transmission on ebay

      Yeah well Belgium is expensive!hehe bet it will
      be half the price in the states for it. depending how it is don. the only thing is that i payed 780euro at the honda dealer for timing belt ,....
      they fucked up, zo at the end it was more like 1500euros, could maybe do a K20 swap for that....
