Dude - there is a reason the channel is growing so fast! You and Ms. Monkey are real, down to earth folks and provide great content!
Thanks so much
I have the same craftsman Jack. Nothing says garage mechanic like a sketchy Jack. It does the job.
I purchased a trailer chock check from them and since they're literally just down the road, I called them and asked if I could purchase an extra set of bolts. They said if I visited them they'd GIVE ME AN EXTRA SET. I've had it for over 10 years and I love it
They are great people...
Thats awesome. They are just a short jaunt away from me. Winnebago south sider here.
@@JimOryan One hour for me - West Bend. Used to pass the Pilgrim Rd. plant on the way to work everyday until Covid.
@@mgwaala sorry to hear you are from West Bend. Took the only thing I liked about that place when I married my wife and moved her out of there. 😂 I’m joking I’m there all the time. Best Harley dealer in the area.
@@JimOryanWBHD seems to be selling tons of bikes right now.
One thing I love about my Harley is the number of things for it made in the USA. I've bought about a dozen things aftermarket for it and I'd say all but one were made in the U.S. That's just awesome. And I've also had some of the best customer service experiences while doing so.
I have the same jack and I love it. I will say that it may take 7 weeks to get but they are made in a small shop by people who care about the quality. My ram jack was missing due to the shipping and I sent pictures to them of damage to the box and quickly replaced it now questions ask. It’s worth every penny.
I have had a JS for 13 years. It lifts my Fatboy & my Ultra Limited with ease. The higher you go the more stable it is.
Why is it more stable the higher it is? Im lookin to get this jack for my dyna in a few months
Man they gave you the oil drain kit too! Make that 2 beers!!
I've used this same jack for 4 years without issue. It's very beefy and I definitely recommend it.. it's worth its price!
Have an J&S for three years. Solid lift. Best that I have used.
I’ve been using a J&S jack for 12 years now. What an awesome product this company puts out.
Great to hear!!!
Monk, I have had one for over 10 years. Awesome jack. One tip is lower it until the safety levers jamb in the holes and I have claimed up on my Electra Glide seat with no problems. I am 6'5 and 250 lb. Awesome for cleaning wheels too. I drove up and got it when Fuel Moto was doing my cams. They are only 5 miles apart. Super guy and made right on site in Wisconsin. Oh never a problem in 10 years either. A real workhorse. You will love the oil drain pan all 3 holes drain to one spot.
When I bought my 19 ultra limited I bought a J&S Jack and it was the best decision I ever made this thing is solid removable and just perfect! my third Harley later I don’t know how I lived without it
I stubbled on your channel and have now watch nearly every video you've made. I've not been riding as long as you, only 15 years with around 80000 miles, but I love your attitude regarding jumping in and trying stuff on the bike while recognising what may be outside your wheel house. Keep putting out these awesome videos and I hope to see you at Sturgis in 2022.
Welcome aboard!
Had one. Had issues. Called them a dozen times with absolutely no return call or help from customer service.
Not typical of an American made company. However, very common with these guys.
Now that you can safely lift the bike. Go ahead and do your front forks with the wilbers kit. There's a really great step by step on here somewhere.
Just watched one on Law abiding bikers channel . Step by step..
I think I am going to tackle it.
Just about brought one for lifting my trike back in October but had problems getting respond from them. Glad to see that they are still in business. I end up with a weaver lift for my trike but may still get one there are job's that a jack does better than a lift and there job's a lift does better. Enjoy your video keep the rubber on the road and be safe in your travels 👍
OKAY.....the putt putt course idea is GOLD, I am on it for here. Great video and I have a Pit Bull which is very similar. Great owner and USA made too.
You know what else comes in handy is a trany jack for easy tire removal and installation. Well it's always easy getting them off it's getting them back on lining up the spacers. Makes it simple and easy.
I couldn’t bring my self to spend the money. I found one used and bought it and it is awesome. I should have bought one years ago. They are very well built and worth every penny
I've used another jack for my Challenger and it is a toy in comparison to the J&S Thanks to both ProMonkey and J&S for the code!
Have had a J&S jack for many years. worked great on the Dyna wide glide,Heritage,Ultra, and the 79 lowrider. They also make slick adapters that work great on the same lift for Indian Vintage. You should shoot a quick video on how easily the jack picks up from the kickstand, and when you lower it how it lands softly on the kickstand and you do not have to hold onto anything. They gave it to ya free, give it a better look.
How many years? And could you leave me a link? Thank you, sir!

You said" It's so much longer and bigger!" LOL!!!!!!!!!! I'm watching at work instead of working and i just lost it!!! Everyone is looking at me like what the heck is so funny, guys are walking towards me and I couldn't hit the pause button fast enough and shrink the page. BUSTED!!
So much longer!!!
That J and S looks really promising. I am definitely going to check it out. Can't wait to listen to you on FDB.
Hope you enjoy it!
I have an aluminum craftsman that worked well until I purchased my FLHTK. J&S is definitely the way to go.
Totally agree
No more garage yoga! That lift is awesome!
Or even more!
Great Channel! I bought a J and S years ago and love it, you will too.
The only problem, the cost of the jack went from 350. to over 800. and 10 week delivery.
Another video with perfect timing. I fear lifting my bike so much.
Just bought a bike jack the other day and am scared to use it.
RIP J&S Jacks
A little bit of advice, when pulling the plug out for the motor that points forward, at least on my ‘17 M8 does, DO NOT TAKE THE DIPSTICK OUT FOR VENTING UNTIL A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF OIL HAS DRAINED OUT!!! It WILL overshoot the oil drain pan!! I found that out the hard way a couple times! 😆👍
Good tip! Ha!
Love my J&S jack. Have been using it for 5 years. I will suggest getting frame guards for the 2017 and earlier softails to avoid jacking on the shocks. I just picked up some from Harley but be advised they are discontinued so it may take finding a dealership that has some tucked away.
Great jack for sure. Used a lot on my Dyna.
Got my J&S today and, , , , , I’M STOKED! To all out there thinking about getting one of these prepare to wait 6 (or more) months to receive it. They’re in HIGH demand… I now know why. Funny story… I just did my first oil change yesterday. You read that right! I did the three holes change yesterday and got the jack today. Ouch! 😂
Thanks so much for the recommendation Mr. Monkey. You weren’t kidding about this thing being solid…
That JS is nice man. I couldn't bring myself to buy one from harbor freight or a deal like that after looking into it. I ended up with a K&L that's built like a tank for a deal and love it but the locking system on this JS is superior. Def a tool you get your moneys worth out of.
Your lucky to have one of those jacks. It is clearly made well, and is much wider for better support of the bike. Nice addition to your garage! Keep the content coming !
I'm having trouble believing that. My contact responds in minutes, and mine was here just a few days after we spoke.

Did you get the jack ?
That's just what I need. Had my shadow 1100 on my Sketchy jack. But no way would I trust my RG on it. Love how much bigger it is.
I'm riding to Sturgis doing the World Record Poker Run.
Sweet!
Love your channel and I watch all the time. I ordered my J&S jack back in December after watching this vid. I was so excited. BUT, OMG! I STILL haven’t received it. Their site said “6-8 weeks” for delivery. I’ve been waiting 20. They had to know… After I left a few messages and e-mails couple months ago, they finally called back almost two weeks later and told me it’d be “a few more weeks”. COMPLETE BS! I’m pretty bummed right now. Just needed to tell someone… Sorry for the rant. Ride safe everyone!
Email me at damonk@professional-monkey.com and I can contact them. Send me your order number, etc in the email.
Email sent…. Sorry for the late reply. I didn’t expect you’d get back to me so soon. THANKS MAN! I really appreciate anything you can do.
I like my craftsman jack been good to me for past 20 years but after seeing that I might just have to go buy me a new one .........watching your videos cost me to much money LOL
Sorry!
I love the hell outta my Craftsman Lift. Haha. Good vid man
I own the J&S jack and it’s amaze balls
Great J&S jack. I’ve one very stable.😎
Dude…. I paid through the nose to get one to Canada…. Best lift ever.
I'm definitely going to look into getting one of these jacks. I'm like you, the old craftsman jack is scary to use on big bikes
This is a HUGE upgrade...
You can get a 1500 lb. rated J&S Jack from Amazon for $169.99 now.
Hey bud! I just looked. It's not a J&S, totally different if you see one in person.
Awesome lift well over $400.00 and with the oil tray that’s like a $80.00 addon
Correction friends I saw on the website the lift with the oil pan is over $662.00 last time I checked it was over $400.00 but with out the oil pan
So do you think its not worth it with the oil pan?
@@Cheaps928 the oil pan add-on actually creates lees of a mess spilling oil on the floor.
That’s a nice Jack Monkey 👍🏻 I’ve been using a Harbor Freight bike jack fir the last couple of years and surprisingly it’s done over a couple hundred lifts and still holds, if it broke tomorrow it was worth the $100 but nowhere as nice as the JS.
Hell yeah dude muy craftsman is probably about the same age as yours and to top it off i flipped by bike of the jack changing my stator once. Been wanting a new one for a few years will def look into that one
It's really well made.
I have the same damm Craftsman thing. When I bought it in 2002 I thought, “I can clean my wheels now”. Terrible for a Dyna, scared me so bad under that thing. I had to use spacers and they eventually evolved into blocks of wood…it was terrible under a Dyna frame… …but, it kynna “works” under my touring bikes but… …I don’t trust it so , uh, no. I am likely to watch this whole ditty! 😅
full lift table baby, direct lift!
Man you got all the good toys
Sorry to necropost but... First of all - good looking jack! I'm currently looking for one and I think u just helped me find it 👍 Please excuse this stupid question - you mentioned positioning the safety catch arms then relieving pressure so that the weight rest on the little arms in the holes. Why? Why wouldn't you just position the arms, IN CASE it bleeds down, and leave the jack under pressure? I'm not suggesting your way is wrong, just the opposite, I wanna know why mine is.
Hey! I don't think youre wrong at all, its just preference. I feel better that the jack is steel on steel instead of relying on hydraulic pressure. The catch arms could get knocked back and not be there when you need them, etc.
@ProfessionalMonkey Makes sense. Plus, the more I thought about it, your way puts less wear on the seals containing the pressure 👍
I've got one like your old one. One day I'll get one like your new one. 👊🏻
Sweet Jack!!! I am in the process of purging all sheep shite from shina from my shop. I am now down to the last few things. I am going to take a serious look at J&S jacks. Even though I know they are hugely more, especially up here in Canuckada, morally buying sheep shina is no longer an option!!! : )
I love that Heritage. Just say'in.
I have one of those old style bike Jacks some off Brand Model had it for years it still works but like u said wobbly and kind of scary when it's all the way up
Thanks For The Video
You bet!
Might have been me. Lol. Everytime I see anyone with a craftsman or harbor freight. It's the best. 650 bux. Very much worth it.
That's a good looking jack. Mine is a Harbor Frieght and it gets sketchy.
Yeah the Craftsmen red jack is kinda sketchy with my lowrider, I wouldn't even think about it with my streetglide.
I bought a harbor freight jack a few years ago. Really wanted a j&s but way out of my league price wise. Haven't dropped my bike yet though and it lived on the jack for a year while I saved up for tires and a few upgrades.
I will say I kinda like the safety lock on the harbor freight one though. It auto flips and engages when you start lifting. Still rather have the j&s
I tried to buy it using your code. It’s been over 16 weeks with no response by phone or email. I had to get my credit card company involved to get my money back.
Sorry to hear that. That video is old. It’s a great product, but if it’s a problem definitely get your money back.
Does it let the bike down nice and slow every time? The one I have now from Harbor Freight is really touchy. Makes me crap my pants every time I let the bike down, and being a ultra limited we’ll you know what that’s like.
You turn a knob to lower it and if you turn it just a little it lowers it nice and slow.
I THINK the oil change kit JUST SOLD ME! I'm gonna keep watching 1st👀👀👀👀
That’s a nice jack, less garage yoga. 👍👍
Or more!
Man I’ve got that same old crappy jack! Lol. Gonna have to look into this one!
Sad they’ve gone out of business and closed. I live in Australia and I got one shipped all the way here. Being far better quality and bigger than any of the pathetic Chinese made products that are sold here, I actually trust having my bike on it.
Then a friend saw it and decided to also order one but later told me the business is permanently closed.
The google address says its closed but the website is still up?
Just ordered one thank you!
Did you ever receive the jack ? How long did it take ?
@@freedom6919741 I did receive it. I wanna say about 4 months. It took longer than expected, but i like to support American businesses and in light of the covid situation etc… overall very happy with the product
@@jeffyoung8047 thanks for the reply.
Do I have to wear my prom tux to watch you now? Nice jack! Much easier to clean the wheels.
Yes you do
Do you have an update on beth’s health
I sure don't. I should hear more next week. Several of us will be together.
Great looking jack. However, it doesn’t look like it would work on my 2016 Triglide due to the placement of the emergency brake assembly.
Perfect timing! I asked you about the craftsman lift a little while back. I’m definitely buying that JS jack thank you!
No problem 👍
That's a top shelf jack very nice and most of all safe! At the rate things are going you may have to get a bigger garage because of your Chanel good problem to have
It would be nice to have that problem for sure.
I have the J&S Jack. Works great but if I leave the bike on it for the winter lifted up theres no way I can get it to work to bet the back down. It wont hold any pressure from sitting to long. Had to band the hydraulic cylinder with a hammer to unstick something before it would hold pressure. Customer service wouldn't reply. Was a good product at first. Not so much now.
Thats really weird???
@@ProfessionalMonkey Yeah maybe has an air lock or low on hydraulic fluid or a sticky check valve. But I live in Canada so not shipping it back. Going to try and sell it. Works fine as long as you don’t leave a bike on the stand for a long time. I just use it to move my bike around.
That's so cool
Have you ever lifted it from right side to do work on left side? Just so lift is out of the way?
Pit bull lift.
I have a J&S jack, it I was worth every penny.
Definitely.
J&S jacks will run you about $600. That's w/o the 5% discount for a USA veteran.
I want to see how fast or slow it goes down.
You turn a knob to lower it so it will drop as slow as you want.
@@ProfessionalMonkey that's good. I have a cheap harbor freight jack just like your craftsman one. The one thing I like about it is it's all foot control. That way I can steady the bike as the tires hit the ground. But that new jack is nice. I really like how wide it is and how tall it is.
I had the Harbor Freight one of those jacks, but it wasn't anywhere near as stout as that one looks.
Dam that story Sounds like mine story except for the free lift I had the craftsman sense 1997 with the Road King I’m in dire need of a new one but the J&S was a little pricey, looking for a used one , 👍🍺🍺🍺
Hello from Kansas city
I'm reading reports of them being out of business, I can't find their website. ?
That's what I heard as well, that they closed up.
Great! But, $765. I can't do that. I have always used my pickup's scissors jack and wood blocks.
1500 views come on guys hit that like button.
May I ask where is the “how to” portion of the vid? You opened the box and automagically the bike is up in the air.
There’s not much to it. It rolls under the bike and you pump it with your foot. It works like all bike jacks just with a waaaaaaay more sturdy frame,
@@ProfessionalMonkey Sure, but if you're looking for a "How to" video, this is not. This is a review. Good review by the way. Let's also not assume that everyone is as comfortable in raising their 1000 pound bike as easily as "Just slide it in and pump it"..., wait, that comment sounds like it's for another video. Anyways, perhaps a demonstration for some of us who are new to using a bike lift. Thanks!
So is that metal on metal on the skids of the jack? 👍🖖
No there are rubber rails.
service and/or jacks? oh those thing I pay good money to mechanics to do and have.. :)
Are they still in business? Just tried buying one on their website but wouldn’t let me, everything out of stock. Will try calling them Monday I guess.
$700 and 12-14 weeks delivery is crazy !
Is that a redline? Just looked up J&S MC jacks online but didn't see one that looks like this one. What model did they send you? I have an Ultraglide Clasic that I have never had the nerve to use the Jack on it that I use on my sportser. I got it pepboys says rated for 1200 lbs but it's shaky with a 650lb bike.
Garage Yoga !
Does this lift is able to spin the bike in a very tight circle cause I need it to in my garage,I ride it straight in forward to park then raise it the lift a few inches to spin the bike 180 degrees to ride forward straight out of the garage.
It spins in place.
I'm curious the batwing fairing bike what sizes handlebars are they?
14 KST
How is the lowering mechanism? Is it gradual or pretty fast. I have been a ton that lower way too fast. Would love to find one that is gradual and smooth.
Entirely up to you. If you turn it just a little bit it lowers very slowly.
@@ProfessionalMonkey that’s exactly what I needed to know. Thank you!!!
How does the Kick stand interact with this new lift?
The rails are slightly behind the kick stand so no problem at all.
