  • The double reeds on this Organette are tuned Celeste to give a sound not unlike an Accordion. This instrument can play 3 different diameters of disc A, B and C with A being the smallest size and the shortest tune. This disc is the Largest & Longest size C.

    There was once a Musical Museum in Deansboro NY. I was about 9 the first time I went with my folks in 1980 or so. Magical place and this takes me back. Thank you so much for this channel!

      There are lots of museums around the USA of these instruments.

      @@polyphon1950 When the museum was closing, my dad went to their auction and purchased a portable melodeon. When my parents moved to be closer to me and their grandson he brought it with him as a gift for me. It is something I will always cherish now that he is gone.
