Wax framing maintenance - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Amazing you can fit your truck, camper and wife's car all in the garage!
Dude its a Truck" not a Garage Queen. Bumps an Bruises are character marks, theres always a great story how it happened.
Seems like this 'truck' IS a garage Queen. He'll be polishing the muffler next video 😂🤣
Nah
Spend 100k and a truck and you wana keep it nice. Bumps and bruises my ass
Man does this video bring back some tough memories, my brand new gmc came with all kinds of rust on the frame and other places from factory and they will do nothing for me. I crawled under there and did what i could. Great video though!
Be careful with the rubberized paint/under coating. That stuff will trap dirt and whatever under it and will cause it to rust more than if it didn’t have anything on it.
I wish GM would paint the frames too but the wax is not nearly as bad as people let on. It will last a long time with zero maintenance.
And also, be careful with the pressure washer. I’m telling you. You will cut that stuff off.
Amazing how clean you got your truck considering how dirty it was....Well done!
Nicely done, looks like a great product
Great Video!
what is the undercarriage washer attachment that you use?
Hit it with some spray paint and call it a day
First of all with the wax coating they must drink for a year or two which was great for me because I used to have the truck for estimates then put it into the work dept. But I believe they are going to be painting the entire frames on the new body style later 25 or 26 model year 27 for hds.
How do you like the Lexus?
Which hd truck and engine you recommend for long distance towing ?
I’ve never been a fan of 2500 HD style trucks but that thing is bad af!!
Mines packed with 3” of mud from work 90% of the time. I keep it pretty shiny on the top side though. 😂
Is your LX under the recent recall for the TTV6?
Any new vehicle od mine will be Wool Waxed, Fluid Film, or similar
Those wheels look like they belong on a electric vehicle. It would look much better with different wheels. Maybe something in a solid gloss black.
I hate to break it to you, but when you showed your underside, you already have rust. The iron in your steel frame has already made a chemical bond with the oxygen in the air on and technically if it looks rusty and it contains iron, which steel does then it is rusted. If you do not, remove the reddish color until you see nothing but silver looking steel. You are simply covering up the rust. You are not let me say this again you are not stopping the rust! Your truck frame is already rusty and it is at the molecular level continuing to rust under your pretty paint job! This is why if you’re going to go out and do things like you did you should seriously look into having your truck under coded with a rubberized type of under coating and have several coats. Then on top of this, I would look into putting 3M’s kind of sticky tar like Under coating over the rubbery stuff. I have a truck that is 24 years old and I purchased a brand new. I had it under coded very heavily before I drove it off the lot. When I got home, I applied 3M under coating everywhere I possibly could . That truck still doesn’t look any worse than any new truck today. The key is you have to get it under coded before you even drive it off the lot! I don’t know how much you know about chemistry and I don’t mean to sound rude or condescending but when you see that rusty, reddish color on some thing which contains iron, which all steel is made of iron with other additives, like nickel chromium, etc. , the moment you see the reddish color you have rust. As I said above, if you do not use a wire wheel on your cordless drill to remove the red all the way down to bright, shiny steel, then primer it and paint it, and undercoat it simply just spraying those black products on it Does nothing except for cover up the fact your truck is already rusting it just can’t be seen! I don’t mean to sound like Mr. negativity, but it’s just plain simple chemistry! You didn’t get rid of your rust you only covered it up! Beautiful truck too bad you didn’t get it under coded before you brought it home much less went out and banged the crap out of the frame and caused it to start rusting, and now the rust is hidden But I guarantee you it will rare its ugly head within a year or two and it will be so much worse. It will be nearly impossible to take care of then!!! Another bonus tip if you’re going to buy new like that get your paint, sealed with a high quality, ceramic paint sealant . If you’re just going to trade trucks every 1 to 2 years, then don’t waste the money on either under coating or ceramic ceiling of the paint. If you’re planning to buy it and drive it till the wheels fall off then do what I did. Mine is still running just fine. it also doesn’t look any rust year than new trucks coming off of the 18 wheelers when they’re delivered to the car lots. A little bit of simple knowledge about chemistry will go a long ways in properly protecting your truck which I don’t mean to be rude, but you haven’t done this you’ve only hidden what is now a problem.
This is ridiculous 😂
Truly.
They make medication for issues like this you know.
I like your videos but i wish you would do real life reviews. Need to do long term review with trucks over 100,000 to 200,000 miles. Because that is what people do with trucks who actually use them. Use them as a truck and not a garage, grocery queen.
Could a had a Superduty
Ridiculous for what these trucks cost. That gm is still doing this bs wax!
