I missed Porro and Udogie so much. But I think this defeat was caused by Ange's failure to play tactics. Wolves have been tactically better prepared than us. And Ange didn't respond properly to Wolves' tactics, especially he should have taken Emerson out sooner.

I thought Sonny at wing was just a make shift plan when there were many injuries. What happened? You have one of the best finishers and you put him as winger, even when there's no potent CF? Are we ready? Richy gets a series of tap-ins and we call him a striker? No way.
BISS has fallen for it. Pride has killed him. I've always said it. Let's see how he gets replaced for good or continually ruin our games.
VICARIO is always our saviour. To be honest, most matches we've won this season after the Chelsea match were undeserved wins, including this one. But for Vicario
At the moment, we have no potent winger. Nothing happens at the wings. Virtually nothing!!! No cut ins, no dummies...nothing!!! Only PEDRO NETO had more cut ins than all our strikers! No cut ins, then no tap ins, meaning RICHY is toothless. None of our wingers has successfully completed a 1v1 apart from Son this season. None!!! Werner makes the numbers complete. If we do not fortify the wingers, next season will be worse.
Generally, I would not blame Ange. But since he is the coach, I would blame him. Everyone has studied his tactics. So what else can he bring? EPL is not your mate.
We need fullbacks. Move on Royal, Richie, and Bissouma.
I am a Spurs fan from the Bill Nicholson era. Will not abandon being one. But I have to say my piece - what this current Spurs team lacks is the heart and soul to fight for a win. This will eventually see them end the race for Europe. What I had seen from the Brighton and Wolves games, I feel the disappointment of the fans.

As an Aussie, I think Ange either needs to completely change, or get the boot. He has used the same tactics for every single game, and now every team has worked us out. You see great teams play differently, depending on the team they're facing, and that's what Ange needs to implement. Also, Werner is a far better LW than son, and Brennan deserves to start over Deki. Sonny should be our ST, and Richy can be a super sub. Not to mention, when are we ever going to use Dragusin. Today was the perfect opportunity to play 3 at the back.

If I were coach Ange, I would use strong players like Van der ven as screens, and use Sonny's curling shot as a partial tactic, kicking at least 3-4 times per game. I don't know why they don't use the strongest spear that can't be blocked even if defenders & are goalkeeper know the trajectory.

What Tottenham need to improve at the moment is that Son should also be used as a set-piece kicker, as well as Porro and Maddison in set-piece tactics.
This was a fairly successful tactic at the time of manager Antonio Conte, and Son Heung-min is less likely to score a goal in a set-piece situation because his header is weak.
If Son Heung-min is in a position to catch a kicker or rebound ball and takes a tactic to aim for the second ball, the set-piece success rate will increase.

Well-deserved loss and NOT a surprising result! I've mentioned earlier that Spurs' OFFENSE had been SHOCKINGLY WEAK with greedy Madison looking for his own goals and PREDICTABLE Richarlison's headers. Spurs is back to square one and is straight up Harry Kane (Richarlison) targetman 2.0 system. NO WONDER Spurs bought an average backpass player in Werner to play the same stupid, predictable backpass-cross strategy to the box. Son is being stuck in the left corner in the usual backpass role and he's there to be SCAPEGOATED for EXPECTED LOSSES. I've been FLAMED by both Spurs and Son fans when I said the problem here is Spurs management is back to playing the same stupid target man system where AVERAGE teams love to adjust and COUNTER-ATTACK. Sure they look great against some crappy teams but I can't see them winning ANYTHING. Son would rather be playing in the Wolves' squad with always finding the striker than a talentless, POORLY COACHED team filled with greedy players (Maddison, Kulu, Richarlison), hopless management.

The two big mistakes NO body was watching Joao Gomes in headball and shooting.
He’s 5’9” nobody’s gonna mark him unless they put an Oli Skipp to annoy Joao Gomes. Leaving to many gaps is a problem on those corners as well. We aren’t using the fullbacks to their potential because they’re to busy worrying about outside shots instead in the box opposing players.
We should've started dragusin over emerson. Bench richarlison put son up front and werner on the left-wing. I don't know what bissouma and maddison was doing. Honestly, these tactics don't work anymore wolves read our every move.
The new manager was a breath of fresh air when he came in and totally changed our style of play. However, he has to be big enough to accept that we can't keep setting up the same way every single game. The performances and results have really dipped in recent months. I hope we can get back on track soon.

our players are just so compacted, all in one place sometimes bumping each other…they should play wide in order to create so much space…the system now doesn’t work..coz overcrowding the opponents box just makes them defend more.. and if the opp score they’ll defend it even more and won’t give us space to counter…Play wide cross, and i hope they’ll be braver and shoot the ball. I hope Sonny steps up too and shoot more goals in his fave position. We don’t see that anymore in him, his tenacity to score goals, he always pass it to teammates who always waste it. And he kept losing the ball and passing it back tbh.
Ange, mate, You now have 2 weeks. Take a breather for a day or two (maybe three) then frikin drag the whole team back to Hotspurs Way immediately. No sympathy, just drag them back, sit all of them down alongside the coaching team, look back at previous failures including this one and get this frikin team sorted out and make them and yourself as a matter of fact, to start adapting more against either high pressing teams or low block teams. Boom there is your solution !!! We have the team, we have the facility, but we don't have that winning mentality from the first 10 games. So it's maybe best to inject that back in our heads or start adapting. And it should be done after the breather at Hotspurs Way.

Let me tell you something, he doesn’t actually know any other way. He doesn’t understand any technical or subtle aspects of the game. Well at this level you need to. Pep and Jurgen for example have a hell of a lot more in the bag than just tiki taka and gegenpressing. They will adapt with the times. This is the prem. This is a big team in the big leagues. This loss is not on the players but on the instructions for the match given by the manager. These are good players. Good enough to perform better than this at home to wolves. Even recently postecoglou has been quoted saying “I know this style of football works” well yesterday it didn’t work Ange and a smart team came to your house with a game plan to beat you and you had no answers and you didn’t change anything as a manager to actually affect the game. Thats due to a lack of wing backs. Udogie and Porro deserve the credit for their constant work rate followed by the fact richy is easy neutralized due to a lack of foot work. I think Son would be better as our CF whilst richy waits for some room to improve. Maddison is not to blame Maddison was great rather the team could not score even with those beautiful passes done and deki needs to be put on the bench now so what if he scored a goal the entire game he has been slow and lacks the speed.

It's a miracle that spurs are even in top 4 race and some people are already tired of ange? He needs time and players. Wolves are also a very hard team to beat. Spurs look out of energy also royal threw the game single handedly. Losing the ball too often slipping bad passing, second goal came from hia misplaced pass , bissouma needs to improve his workrate as well , for the second goal he was the one who didn't track back. Conceding unnecessary goals is not great and crossing is the only attacking play rn which doesn't help when playing against tall cbs.
