I like how straightforward Geon-Hu is about his feelings for Hae-E, and I hope they end up together because they mirror the main leads. He's an athlete forced to retire, and she's an academic genius. *They complete each other!*

Don't try this public declaration way of confessing/proposing. These scenes are glorified in drama whereas in reality Women feel really awkward and don't like it. Its better to have these type of conversations in private:)

Seriously... Teenagers may not understand this unless they've dealt with an awkward situation themselves so this scene is not unrealistic per se, but older women usually cringe. It's so manipulative and disrespectful to the other person when you confess/ propose in such a public way. Because then they have to accept even if they don't want to, otherwise they're labeled as cruel.

It depends on the woman. Some may prefer private but some are open with public declaration. Some even do not need confession or proposal. The key is to know the woman that you intend to confess/propose.

Loving Geon-hu for the past episodes! He's so straightforward and sweet to Hae-E. I just hope the writer won't add a toxic love triangle, because I really want Hae-e to focus on her studies. (I don't think she'll choose because girlie said "study first" ✊)

The only thing I know is that this episode made me rethink my decision to ship Hae-e and Sun-jae… but I definitely can feel the romantic tension between the two students from miles away. It’s so obvious that they like each other and emotionally connect on a certain level.

As they say, opposite attracts. Just like her former athlete aunt connected with the math genius tutor. I like how Geon-hu is super protective of Hae-ee, both physically and emotionally. Seon-jae for me is too fragile for Hae-ee; he has too much family issues going on. Not to mention his mom is a tiger mom, I don't want Hae-ee would be part of their messed-up family. I think Geon-hu will fit much, much better with Hae-ee's tight knit family.
I feel bad for Seon-jae, but you are right. He is too sensitive and nice, also lives under his mother's thumb. He needs to sort that out before he does anything else. If they develop him, make him grow a spine to deal with his mother etc, then I would cheer for him.
naah sunjae has a deeper connection with hae-ee that geon-hu cant probably match
nahh forbidden love is one of my fav tropes, and plus i find sunjae more relatable and easy to sympathise with. him and haeyi have a deeper emotional connection too
His mom is not as dangerous. She talked very calmly with hae when she came to talk about the leaked papers and never thought of hurting her. She is crazy for her son's education but she definitely is better than sua's mother that goes out to destroy other people and their kids for her own. The only reason she sided with sua's mother to kick out hae from the crash course was because she thought hae was a distraction for her son and not because she is a competition or she has any problem with hae being more smart and intelligent than her son.
Opposite attracts but haee is never shown to have any interest in Geahu. She wasn't even flattered when he proposed. She ran out of embarrassment and later had no awkwardness with him.
Nam hae-e is so proud when geon-hu solves the question correctly.
Nah that ice skating scene they had got me rooting for both of them.. Those moments grow inside a girl's heart and she did not have any moments like that with Sunjae

up till episode 12, i feel like haee only see sunjae as her best friend. she is always there for him bcs they have been friend for a long time.

Don't like this public declaration/confession thing. These things are glorified on-screen but very embarrassing especially for teenagers when it happens in real life. Has happened with me when I was in school, even the teacher was cheering for that guy, but I was mortified and ashamed. Now looking back, I know that was harassment and the teacher should have protected me. But that was way back in early 2000s, don't expect this kind of storyline now!! If Geon Hu wasn't played by a good-looking actor, he'd be called a harasser by everyone.
You wanted the teacher to scold him. So every time someone gets asked out for big dances in highschool it's harassment and everyone should be ashamed by your logic. Hardly anyone would label them a harasser. They would just be clowned/praised since everyone films everything and posts it. You're too sensitive to function.
