Mavic Pro Intelligent Flight Modes l Tutorial and Review
NOTE: If you do not see the Remote Controller-shaped icon on the left side of your screen when looking for the flight modes, please make sure your Mavic is not in Sport Mode. Sport mode disables the intelligent flight modes. And thanks for watching! -That Awkward Guy Walking Around In The Video

You guys should consider covering the rest of the Intelligent Flight modes... Terrain Follow, Point Of Interest, Follow Me Mode, Waypoints, Home Lock and Course Lock.
I think it's important to mention, that backward flying can be enabled in ActiveTrack mode. But thanks for the tutorial anyway :)
Great Vid. Thanks!
If you can't find the "Remote Control" icon on the left side of your screen as he shows in the video you must turn the 'SPORT' mode switch to 'OFF' that can be found on the right side of your physical controller. This dogged me for a while till I happened on to it. Switch if off then the icon appears and happy intelligent mode flying.
Lee Davis Jesus Christ I've been trying to figure this shit out for 3 days ! Appreciate it !
Bruh thank u sooooooooo freaking much been really upset for days over this actually been watching video after video to try and figure out why I'm not seeing these modes. Thank you 👐
Legend. Best comment on CZcams. Just saved me a lot of stress haha
Ive been using mavic for a year and I was searching to get back the remote icon for the last 2 montha , this video & comments are so helpful
Thanks Ive spent nearly 2 hours today trying to work out why i couldnt find the icon, now im all good.
thanks for this tutorial, I just got my mavic a few days ago and to my horror dji must make significant changes to features placement and parameters on their go 4 app on a regular basis because other (older) tutorials are telling me to interact with parameters that have either been rearranged or removed completely. as of the time of this comment your screen at least matches my screen and was very helpful :D
Some of the icons are placed differently from iPhone and Android versions as well. This was shot on an Android. Perhaps that's why?
Very informative!
What is the quality that you were recording in. I cant get my pro to record this clear.
i have mavic pro in these days when i take off my donre less catch the foog is there any solution
can u help me if u have any Idea
hi dronefly
awesome video , learned a lot thanks
your video quality is way better then with my mavic pro. is that with color grading or just a raw video?
also would you mind telling us your camera settings on ur mavic pro?
thanks again
wolfgang
@Trevor Hayes Thank you . just mailed my DJI Mavic Pro back to DJI. the second time . my video is very blurry compared to your thanks again
Do i need to activate multiple flight modes in order to work these intelligent flight modes?
Thanks for the info. And please find some better background music
Please do cover the rest of the Intelligent Flight Modes :/
I'm getting a Mavic today and I plan on shooting a music video with it this weekend. I'm trying to decide on the best way to sync audio. It seems like I'll have to start playing the music while the drone is on the ground, then take off. Got any better ideas?
start recording video, and make a gesture, like applause.. or if u dont wanna be seen, just throw little thing infront of the camera, and that will be your music starting point
super setting sir
I'm definitely getting the Mavic Pro!
You won't regret it. I finally picked one up and its everything I was hoping it to be and more.
That's great to hear! By the end of the month I should finally have enough money to buy it so I'm really looking forward to that! ;)
My first drone and I love it. Probably should have gotten something cheaper but got the fly more combo which came with 2 extra batteries and a charger hub and it's awesome!!!
When I try to switch to active track it says "Intelligent track modes are disabled" but I can't find in the whole internet how to disable the attitude mode. It's been a year now, I can't find it. Please help me out.
Does the Tripod mode slow down looking up & down of the Gimbal as well? Thanks in advance :)
Not that I have noticed. For that you change your gimbal settings. Cheers! :)
I have a problem because my icon remote control disepeare ... so I can not choose flight mode .... how to fix it ?
Like the Video, Can you share the settings for you video camera.. the colors are very nice..
I believe when we shot this the Mavic Pro was just on auto settings. Thanks for watching! -Trevor from Dronefly
So what's the difference between the Tripod Mode and Panoramic Mode?
My intelligent flight mode icon is gone. Can you help me?
Please step the how to actually bring the intelligent flight mode up on a smart controller, you said click on the remote control button on the left!!!!! where is that?
I can see the "Remote Control" icon of the left side, but once inside, I cannot see the Active Track button. Any ideas on how to get that too appear and be available? I'm using a Galaxy S9 or S7 Edge. All software is apparently up to date.
Good day to you my name is Tyrell,i am a new dji mavic pro owner everything is so sensitive once you touch the remote everything move so fast how to slow that down?
I never flew a drone just bought the mavic 2 first time flyier my question is on my remote I don't see the intelligence flight mode on my screen
It's probably not good to be going in to "intelligent" flight modes as someone who's a first time flier. I'm in the same boat. Just got a mavic and taking it slow. I'm treating it like learning to ride a motorcycle. Seems easy, is easy... but easy to make a bad mistake too. I know it's a year later now, but for others... intelligent flight mode is under the 3 dots in the upper right of the screen. Then touch the little drone icon that is in about the center of the screen. In that menu is the intelligent flight mode enable option.
Where is the ok button?
Do you need to carry the remote for active track to follow you?
Once you have highlighted yourself on the screen, you no longer need to carry the remote control for the Mavic to follow you. At about 0:28 you can see that I actually set the controller on the ground before moving. Keep in mind though that for safety's sake you should never be far from the remote. Thanks for watching! -Trevor from Dronefly.com
active track will "attempt" in wifi mode
has anyone ever experience this issue where the intelegent mode icon didnt even show up on your controler or phone??????
We were a bit late to update the description, but it was also addressed in the comments. Check to make sure your Mavic isn't in Sport Mode, which disables the intelligent flight modes.
I hope this resolves your issue! -Trevor from Dronefly.com
Got idea for your videos how about u ride electric bike at 20 mph while 20 drones chase you be funny 😂 .
How do I know this song/track?!
shazam !
Haha I just meant that it's really familiar, but I'm not sure where I've heard it before. I think it's just on a stock music purchasing site that I use also.
Pretty sure that was pulled from the CZcams creative commons music page.
It's the same song shadetree surgeon uses at the end of his videos.
it is necessary to have wifi on the phone to fly the mavics
looks like LA
That's not a complete tutorial of all the mavic pro intelligent flight modes
What about the other Intelligent Flight modes? Instead half the video is about WiFi. That's not what your title suggests.
Bad job done with roof, sika pvc... Not good
you demonstrate the modes nicely but you don't' show us how to set them up, or even find them on the RC controller... not very helpful in that respect.
