i don't think Russ should've reacted the way he did. As a professional athlete you are exposed to lots of people that won't like you. Football fields has separation between players and fans, same as baseball fields. Hockey fields have walls. In basketball games, fans are seated at arms reach of fans.

Agreed! I don't think anyone should be that close to the court anyway. It's a safety hazard as well. How many times have players fallen into cameramen, had to jump over rows of fans so they don't collide with them. There are just to many people close to the courts and fields. With all the technology cameramen should not have to be that close and neither should fans.
