Kawasaki Motors Europe has announced the release of a new model, the Ninja 7 HEV or Hybrid Electric Vehicle, on the 6th of October 2023. The Ninja 7 HEV is a first-of-its-kind hybrid electric motorcycle that combines a 451cc parallel-twin engine on the combustion side with a 9-kilowatt(12PS) traction motor with a 48-volt battery pack on the electric side.

But 30 to 40 kmpl mileage is very low for a hybrid engine bike. An ideal hybrid motorcycle should gove atleast 60 kmpl milage. Why only 30 to 40.
Even The regular 350 cc bikes like Royal Enfield classic 350, meteor 350, Hunter 350, they all give about 35 kmpl in city. Also of you consider sporty bikes, the Dominar 400cc, pulsar NS400 also gives about 30 kmpl with amazing power of about 40 bhp. This is so wrong for a hybrid engine.
