Why do you mow without a catcher?
1. All those clippings release not great stuff into your lawn as they break down and essentially “rot”..
2. All those clippings blow everywhere.
3. All those clippings stick to bottom of shoes/feet and get walked into the house.

So I haven't cared for my lawn in many years. in early April I applied 2 rounds of Fert o lome weed free zone followed by an app of old Scotts turf build plus weed n feed. which yielded me some success. After finding you and you're fellow great content creators, I AM HOOKED! You make it look so easy but yet after you're own trials and tribs, the end result is a beautiful lawn and landscape. You have a great gig going, PJ's and all. Have a great night!

I was just in your neck of the woods today going for a drive for my brothers BDay & can’t believe all the construction going on there. Those pisser offers are a sad sight & I could see them from dropping down into town. We try to make it there once a year & my Brother said he never seen that flag before & how could he not miss it is beyond me.

Are you overseeding with sissy grass? I recommend you put some soil and seed in your cart. Get it damp and mix it really well then cover it. Once the seeds start germinating you can spread that dirt/seed mix on those bare spots. The grass should have a head start in those areas. It's like making sprouts in a mason jar but with grass seed.

I use a power rake to process cores after aeration. Chops them up almost to nothing!!

Nice Vid Connor! It must be so painful to wait to throw er down, but wind spoiled the fun! You almost had it perfect with open soil but best to wait if it was windy. Throwing down my seed this week but de-thatching with a rake. One back spasm after another so taking it section by section. That machine is so much faster but my lawn is not as big so I’m just going to have to deal with it. Really looking forward to the seeding vid and some Dahlia update vids in the future! Loving the tunes recently! Nice editing skills! I appreciate all the effort you put into your videos. :)

Once the leading edge of your flail gets rounded there might be a way to remove it and put it in the other way for a square edge again.

Hey, how come when I passed by your house a few weeks ago to go fishing, you looked at me like what the hell is this guy doing? lol. When you core aerate, you run the risk of bringing up viable weed seeds.
Weeds haven't been a problem for my tall cut, lush tall fescue.

Maybe the triplex is spreading the POA. Maybe you should just use the greensmaster and bag the grass so you don't spread any more of the POA in that area. Maybe I should get a bucket of shut the hell up!!

Would you ever consider a white picket fence and some mulch beds around the outside of your yard (up against the street)? Might keep future dingleberries from driving over your lawn.
No, I can not do that. That is city owned property. Easement. I can not do anything with that property. I add underground sprinklers there and they about had a cow.

Hey so I was reading the tenacity bottle the other day and that says it’s a post-emergence treatment for poa annua
Quick question - Do you put down a pre-emergent in the early spring that runs it’s effective course by this time of year? If so what do you use as I am considering a half dose application here in north Texas to calm some break through but still overseed a tall fescue lawn in the fall.
